Gotta be one of the most offensive names out there, worse than stuff named after confederate generals.
Not only have they not, there are still old cigar store looking statues sitting on docks around the lake. It wasn't even a damned lake before Europeans settled here.
when I see names like that I assume it was a site where natives could be baptized or drown or something
Yeah that’s a bad one. Straight up derogatory, racist, misogynistic term. Glad they fixed it finally.
Most people who can afford lake houses are. My buddy remains one of the nicest most unassuming people I know, but he's definitely an exception.
my cousin had his bachelor party there in I believe September, shortly after their “season” or whatever and just about everybody we encountered were huge cunts. And I hated that place.
That game wasn’t fun and I drank too much malort before and after the game. Good win ND, your towels should have been gold. Back to my hangover thank you for the time
Modern science has not yet figured out how to make gold fabric. But we have some of our top minds at under armor trying to crack the code.
If anyone at the game was around someone obnoxiously screaming about pantones and Kevin Kline being an iu graduate, that was me. I’ll continue blaming it on the malort I went into dumb comic mode as an embarrassing defense mechanism
Maybe if you did that instead of spending your science on some stupid nearwave cancer device we could have nice shiny things to wave around
watching the broadcast for the first time and while it's obvious ND is the better team, the momentum IU had in the first few minutes was way more than I thought I didn't realize that the red zone INT (before the 98 yard run) was so frantic because they were trying to get a snap off before a review that they would've won anyway. Rourke missed an open guy because of it. Even a little patience and the game is 7-0 and who knows where it goes from there But instead there's a great pick and then IU's #5 takes a terrible angle and it's 7-0 the other way. little things can really get magnified
Same was true with SMU/PSU. I don't think SMU wins, but that game is drastically different if they complete that 4th down play to a wide open TE for a TD. They don't and then Jennings falls apart and it's over in the first quarter.
It was weird, where I was watching the IU fans went crazy after the pick, then the energy left the room after Watts int. After the Love run it felt over. Those two plays changed the game and gonna miss X.
Yeah at some point people will realize that defenders take shitty angles and miss tackles every single week against Love and Price. It’s not a one off thing.
while I am a big fan of his and I think he caused other players on that play to take bad angles, I'm not sure #5's mistake was due to smoothness
True, that guy was too hyped up and filled the wrong gap. A normal nd back picks up 30 yards on this, love took it 98 yards
