yeah that's comically sad by Duke - Marvin Bagley couldn't beat UVa so lets get the little UMBC guy lol
I actually almost replied to that guy before it turned into a whole thread when he mentioned ACT/SAT scores. Was going to ask when he graduated but thought better of it.
Personally, I’m excited to watch 2 top 10 basketball teams battle for #1 medical school on Twitter. lechnerd, you have any thoughts on who will win?
That was the most boring game we’ve played in years. I was so bored. No clue whether it was the crowd or the announcers but it felt like a scrimmage.
the crowd only got loud twice. when they hit the 3 to get within 1, and if Jack Salt missed those two free throws it meant the crowd received a free cfa sandwich
pretty happy with the WR commits we took. feel like we were looking for another Levrone, and man we missed that this year. if perkins arm snaps back next year, it will be very welcome to have a tall, deep threat.
Very happy for the seniors, especially Tim Harris and Olamide. Being not miserable at football is fun.
Next couple weeks are going to be fun in basketball. I think we can give Duke a game but I don't see us pulling it off in Cameron. I think we can probably split with VT this year and will handle them in a close game at home. @ Clemson and @ BC really feel like trap games but I generally think our bball team's "trap" games just mean we win by less than we should rather than losing them. FSU is really the key game, hopefully we go 3-2 as a minimum and I'm hopeful/confident for 4-1.
We're a much bigger favorite in KenPom against FSU than you'd expect - 80% chance of winning with a projected score of 70-61. In fact, KenPom has us more likely to lose at Clemson with a 65-60 projected final and 65% win percentage, and only slightly more likely to win at BC (83%) than to beat FSU.
that is surprising...though I do think UVa matches up much better against FSU then say VT which seems designed as a team to beat the packline
