Sometime in the late 80s Wexler gave Epstein control over all (or close to all) of his finances. Epstein lived in a Manhattan property owned by Wexler for the next decade. Still don't understand how they got to that point of trust though. Epstein certainly didn't have the financial pedigree to warrant that level of trust.
It's late Saturday night, man. Give me a break, mmmkay? My reading comprehension and analysis is like that of an average Ohio State fan at this point.
Talked his way in as a asset manager, I guess. Probably got a 14 year old to suck Wexner's dick after a deep talk about Epstein's financial prowess. We're talking about a guy in Wexner who grew up jerking it into the women's underwear at his parent's department store.
Drunkenly tried to explain this entire conspiracy to my wife at like 10:00pm Saturday night. I went as poorly as you'd expect. I sounded like a rambling idiot so at least she's truly getting to know me.
I never realized that Trump sort of spoke out about Epstein’s pedophilia at a time when it wasn’t popular to do so: “...even said that he likes beautiful women..., and many of them are on the younger side.“
The explanation I've heard that makes the most sense is he supplied underage girls to wealthy individuals in exchange for managing their money.
On the 2nd episode of the Netflix doc right now. It implied very briefly that there was a sexual relationship with Wexler and Epstein. the creepiest thing at this point in the doc is how easily he could squash police reports all over the country. Wild to think about how you’re able to exert that much control over local police forces in multiple counties in both Florida and California. Also confusing/frustrating to think about how easy it should be for people working at those police station to be like “yup we stopped working on this case because Person X told me to stop.”
Epstein was introduced to Wexner through a guy named Robert Meister, who I believe was the CEO of Aon. Wexner didn't work with Epstein for a couple years after meeting him. As the story goes, Epstein warned Wexner of the pending Savings & Loans crisis in the 80's, even though Epstein wasn't working for him yet. Wexner didn't take the advice and lost a ton of money as a result. At that point Wexner realized Epstein was his guy. I'm not sure when the underage prostitutes came into play but I am sure that only helped strengthen the relationship.
Even so, it's such a meteoric rise from lying on his resume to get a teaching job it's hard to believe it was organic.
I agree. Epstein had worked at Bear Sterns and ran a ponzie scheme disguised as a hedge fund before any of this, but still it is a little far fetched.
Has there ever been any findings of Epstein supplying boys to these guys? I know a couple people that have worked directly with Wexner for years and have always sworn that his wife was a complete beard for him.
Have to think this will put pressure on her to start talking. Can confidently say she is not built for prison
Worked on the island. Saw sex act by Roger Stone Disposed of a dead girl that was with Mitt Romney's son Went to Switzerland with Epstein and helped kill a guy for taking videos of acts Other assorted acts. Really...you should read it.
Worker on Island saw a bunch of shit. But it was 4chan. I’d be ok with Reddit but I can’t entertain anon 4chan posts at all.
Worth reading whether it’s a made up story or not, it is entertaining. I hope it’s true. Wonder if it is.
“I don’t know if it’s true, I just thought it was interesting,” is the justification for the dumbest shit by the dumbest people.
This is some more fascinating and sketchy shit. I actually read a different article but I assume it had the same info. Cliffs: -Maxwell is married but won't name spouse -she and a male used aliases (Jen and Scott Marshall) and British accents when buying a 156 acre estate in New Hampshire -per the real estate agent that showed them the property, the guy she toured the house with claimed to be retired British military who was looking to write a book; Maxwell claimed to be looking for privacy -they insisted on purchasing quickly and via a wire transfer -in court, she claimed to have "no monthly income" -also claimed to not know the name of the company that bought the house and said that she "was just permitted to stay in the house"
IIRC the guard at the gate when they served the search warrant was a former British special forces or something and he had been using a credit card with his or the company name that hired him to purchase things for her so she wouldn’t have to leave and the feds couldn’t track the purchases Believe it was her brother that hired him
