There's a new guy that is crushing people and doing true daily doubles a la Big Dick Rog...and he appears to be a huge stoner.

I'm signed up for the test but didn't feel like taking it last night. Will probably do it tonight just for fun.

I remember doing it in college 4 or so years ago and it was pretty hard.

Thanks bruh. The general accepted theory is that 35 is the cut-off and I've gotten the invite before in the low 40s. I think I'm in the selection pool for sho, just hope I get picked.

The top two rows never have daily doubles, so if it's up to you to choose a clue it's a mistake to choose the top two rows if DDs are out there...also bouncing around is advantageous to the person choosing the clue because they know the category before the other players.

Got it, I understood how bouncing around would be advantageous to the player, but didn't realize the top two rows never had daily doubles. Makes sense now.

I thought it was funny how he bounced around and found both daily doubles in Double Jeopardy yet only bet $100 each time. Just rubbing in the opponents faces that they won't get the chance to double up on him.

Surprised Alex missed that...I'm not at all social media savvy but I know Twitter is older than that(and I believe they haven't been bought) and I remember when Instagram was famously bought for $1 billion even though I didn't know wtf it was. He's smart as shit but he did have a few puzzling misses on seemingly easy questions...I was about to shit a brick when he almost missed that 'Venice' daily double.

Final vacillates wildly from extremely easy too pretty darn tough. I'm convinced that FJ questions are kept separate from the rest of the game and used as a way to keep close games close/vice versa

I know that isn't how it works, but I've convinced myself of it

Jeopardy needs to adopt the quizbowl format of pyramid style questions and bonuses for early answering.

also the questions should be harder

Someone explain to me like I'm five why the chances in this problem are 67% if he changes his answer to door #2 and not the same if he stays with door #1.

You are picking 1 out of 3 doors, so whatever door you pick at first has a 33.3% chance of being right. That doesn't change when they take one away, because they are always going to take away one of the wrong doors regardless of whether or not you pick the right one or a wrong one to start. So you are left with two options and because you know the one you picked has a 33.3% chance of being right, math dictates that the other has to have a 66.6% chance of being right.
