The recruiting stuff is true compared to OSU. Compared to the rest of the B1G, who rank behind UM in recruiting every year and who Harbaugh is 32-7 against over the last five years? Not really. And lol at "the backbone of their team is being built from the state of Massachusetts". UM has 4 players on the current roster from Massachusetts. Two others are current commits. So, you know, 7 percent of the roster next year.
What? I'll fuckin', I'll fuckin' tie you to a fuckin' bedpost With your ass cheeks spread out and shit, right? Put a hanger on a fuckin' stove and let that shit sit there for like a half hour, take it off and stick it in your ass slow like tssssssssssss!!!!!!
Harbaugh is ambivalent to recruiting and its disorganized and seems to lack a consistent strategy(theres numerous stories showing this and Steve wiltfong had a podcast rant about it). While um shouldn't be recruiting at OSUs level it should be better and closer to harbaughs first two classes(even in those classes there were major organizational issues).
He could put anything negative in there and it would appear true to you. Talking Harbaugh with you is like arguing with a Kobe stan who thinks he's better than LeBron. What I say doesn't matter so I'm not wasting the time.
Haven’t read the fluff anti-JH fluff piece but this post tells me your Harbaugh hate boner is in full effect regardless of context
Which of these do you disagree with? Persistently bizarre day-to-day strange awkward interpersonally ambivalent toward authority ambivalent recruiter impotent quarterback developer
They really don't have much to argue at this point. They just refuse to day i was right so we do this weird dance.
Wiltfong's rant doesn't mean much when he continually sucks off James Franklin as being an incredible recruiter despite Harbaugh out recruiting him every year he's been at Michigan except one.
Does it really matter? Your mind was made up when Moxin said Harbaugh was a better fit for UM than Saban. No matter what anyone says, no matter what it won’t change your mind. The End
I mean damn, I asked a simple question. Instead of "YOU JUST DONT LIKE HARBAUGH!", something we all agreed on years ago, just answer the question. Don't cry that the article was unfair and then not say what was inaccurate.
Editor: Pete, what do you have for me this week? Thamel: not much, I could write about how much Texas sucks Editor: nah we have that covered Thamel: I have a bunch of quotes in my back pocket about Harbaugh being a weirdo Editor: perfect!
I thought the "other coaches in the B1G secretly hope he sticks around" bit was amusing. Harbaugh is 32-7 against B1G schools not named Ohio State. Two of those Ls were against an MSU coach no longer there. Four of them are road losses to PSU and UW (Harbaugh 5-4 against those teams overall). The other was a road loss to Iowa in 16. He's out-recruiting every other school in the league not named OSU. But yes, Harbaugh being at UM has really worked out well for the rest of the B1G.
I argue that "I disagree with some of that article but refuse to say which part bc you don't like Harbaugh" is weird.
The coach I don’t like because Michigan fans thought he’d be a better fit for their school is annoying...hate boner:engaged
They’ve gone from desperately hoping the season is cancelled to passionately defending Harbaugh Do I have a point, not really.
You're accusing me of passionately defending Harbaugh in the same thread where someone else is mad that I won't passionately defend him so he can argue with me for the next two hours.
It's weird they just can't admit they were wrong and can't admit they'd be better off with someone else. Reminds me of people that voted for Trump but double down on him instead of admitting they were wrong. It shouldn't be hard. Example, Pete Golding fucking sucks. I tried to give him a pass for last year bc of injuries. Nope, he just sucks. Need a new coach.
You're defending him without actually saying what you think was unfair. Thats the funny part. You just brush it off as Thamel and me hating Harbaugh, as if the things said aren't true.
Sorry not sorry because I’m a frontline healthcare employee who thinks playing this season is stupid but Lol OSU fans wanted one more season with Fields at QB because of selfish reasons
So just for my curiosity. Which head coach that Michigan could go out and hire right now would be better? There's no doubt that Harbaugh has not lived up to the expectations when he came here but if it's a choice between status quo and becoming what Texas is, where they haven't lost fewer than 4 games in a year in the last decade as they continually cycle through head coaches, then I'll happily stick with Harbaugh.
I’m in favor of sports being played the right way in this NBA, NHL bubbles, Big Ten and NFL protocols; yeah, let’s play. How our 2 teams have treated this has been great, Bama seems to be responsible as well Dan Mullen, Dabo, and Orgeron; fuck off
If you want an answer, idk. I don't study coaches to know who could be the next good coach. I just don't think UM should settle for mediocrity. 5 years of 3-5 losses isn't what UM should be. You talk down on Texas as if UM has been much better. 5 years of 3+ losses. If you hire a guy and become a 4 loss team, its not that much worse. But maybe just maybe you hire someone that makes you relevant on the national stage.
Over his tenure I would not say he has out recruited PSU consistently. Yes to this cycle but I’m pretty sure we have a higher team composite this season
That’s inaccurate. Wiltfong works for 247...we have out recruited UM according to his service I think each of the last 3 years. Not positive on 2020 though. edit: I just checked and confirmed 2020 we were also higher than UM according to the 247 rankings https://247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/TeamRankings/
