You can talk shit about pretty much every school on that list, but including Sewanee is ridiculous. It played in major conference football for nearly half a century (in the same one as Alabama, too), was among the better teams in the country the first quarter of the 20th century, and it’s 1899 team is considered to be among the best single season teams off all time.
I'm assuming these games were played late 19th and early 20th century when rules weren't standardized and you would play anyone that could field a team.
Yeah, who would be a big enough loser to do something like that. Spoiler I’ve already been on winsipedia looking at the number and percentages of total wins for Alabama and Michigan against teams currently in FBS, FCS, Div 2, Div 3, and none of the above. But not to tweet.
I recently listened to an interview with golf course architect Gil Hanse and my biggest takeaway is that a Sewanee grad is like a CrossFiter or Vegan - they will let you know without asking. It appears he nailed that take.
They just said on the broadcast that Aidan Hutchinson hasn’t had a sack in almost a month. VERY interesting imo iyam Spoiler
I worked with a guy who would say "Oxford" when people asked him where he went to school. He meant Oxford, Ohio .
I liked all the Sewanee posts because every Sewanee person I've ever met has told me that weird place's whole, painfully boring history within a week of meeting them.
It doesn’t matter that they cheated. It matters that the whistleblowers of the cheating face proper justice.
Glad our Michigan posters got their much deserved 3 day weekend, excited for them to log in for their 9am shift tomorrow at the shit posting factory feeling well rested
