Haven't watched his content - but he's bff with my former director of marketing so I see him pretty often.
Should go on to do a q and a about la night life. He streams so many hours he's got time to fill And make sure you shout out your cracker filled message board
Buddy I am going on a podcast called she/her/they in the next month or so. I'm prepared for anything.
One of my neighbors who has morphed into a Rogan guy during the pandy (although vaxxed) tried to throw out the “myocarditis is happening at a higher rate to the vaxxed than the unvaxxed” to our neighbor who is a literal cardiologist. It did not end well.
The popular narrative of anti-vaxx pre-COVID was that it was some wild hippie left wing position. Mainstream right wing folks felt comfortable ridiculing that stance. The truth is that anti-vaxx has always been one of the rare examples of actual horseshoe theory in the wild. Right wing “don’t tread on me” types have been against vaccines just as much as hippies fretting over “toxins.” COVID and Trump have just made that the standard Republican position now.
I would consider that a poor attempt at a bad joke, and no you don't have to watch the entire episode to come to that conclusion. I know Freddie Lockhart was on a couple times back in the day along with being on a handful of the ice house chronicles. Freddie and Joe go back pretty far as comedian firends and colleagues.
it tickles me to no end how Barstool and Rogan are just lifestyle brands for men, the weird defensiveness because its part of their identity so a criticism of them feels like a criticism of themselves, so good
When he had a guest on who repeatedly stated that black people are genetically predisposed to violence and didn't push back was that just a bad joke or no?
we got joe being EXCEPTIONALLY racist like last week with the gatekeeping blackness video don't need to go back ten years let alone ten minutes
How insecure must one be to engage in this discussion/debate for pages? Despite accurately calling out the methods employed to prolong and obfuscate it?
Maybe he was doing a Jimmy the Greek bit? I doubt he was, but that might be an instance where you could say something like that as a joke.
He literally said if he was a healthy person in their 20s he wouldn’t do it. Wonder how many self identifying “healthy” 20 somethings listen to the show.
I wish Sam Seder was like the character on Bob’s Burger he voices Hugo and was able to shut Rogan down for too many violations.
