Haha Rogan has Graham Hancock on again after his terrible debate. He really doesn’t even give a shit anymore.
From what I can tell, a lot of disaffected apolitical people listen to his show. While I'm not a fan, his audience share is massive. If it falling through is due to the Harris camp, then I think that's a pretty big misstep. I read the highlights of the Undertaker podcast Trump did, and it sounds like it did a pretty good job making Trump seem "normal" which (imo) sows doubt in the reality and Dem messaging that he's fucking nuts. I think that's what a lot of these podcasts have done for Trump TBH. Him having the opportunity to do it on the biggest possible platform for low propensity voters seems not great.
if he wont have her on her camp needs to make that apparent (I also think its good if she goes on second)
rogan will 100% talk about the Hitler stuff at least so that will be interesting unless he goes full softball mode
Feels like there's not a lot of time left to go on a major show for it to make enough of a dent in a portion of the electorate imo.
He'll just say it's not true and probably shit talk the general. Wonder if Rogan presses on shit talking the 4 star general.
In an election that's supposedly this close, I disagree. This is the time where you push to turn out low frequency voters. If Harris was very clearly up 5 pts in all the swing states, then it wouldn't matter, but polling indicates that isn't the case.
Would agree except the younger, uninformed male audience vote is a real force multiplier for her. This is a moonshot. I think she or Walz should absolutely go on. If she does real well, there are voters in that base that would be easily influenced in hearing her as the last voice prior to voting. He has fans that will never be flipped, but there are plenty that could.
I’d be surprised if there’s anything more than just a slight push back if anything. The shows I listened to with politicians he just lets them talk.
Rogan is 100% not pushing back on Trump. He endorsed Tulsi Gabbard. Hell, they share quite a few of the same views. If anything it will be 20 minutes on trans paranoia, 20 minutes on how much California sucks now, 10 minutes on covid conspiracies.
Plot twist: Joe spends 90 minutes grilling Trump on his whole Plandemic and Operation Warp Speed forcing untested vaccines on the American public.
If this does drop.... disagree that a sexual assault story, this late in the game, with a donors teenage daughter, wouldnt cut through the noise in a way that other things havent edit: wrong thread
Interesting to note how politicization post-2016 changed JRE. He's just a windsock, which is partly why I don't think Harris would be walking into a lion's den.
lmao at Joe Rogan being smarter than absolute dipshit comedians despite being so closely linked with them.
Nothing wrong with the joke, it's a great joke. Just wrong setting Still a pretty gross take, but does display some semblance of common sense.
That Konstantin guy is one of the more off-putting talking heads the right have trotted out since Benny Shapiño.
Agreed. If that joke is made in a comedy club it's a non issue. But making it a political rally is really dumb. Time and place for things.
Joke wasn’t funny. I don’t get offended by jokes, but the joke wasn’t funny to me. And of course not the best setting to tell it
Tony can be funny IMO. Thought he did killed at the Tom Brady roast. But using roast comedy at a political rally was a dumb idea.
They will come out and say “woke people, just can’t handle jokes, etc”. Tony and his group will act like victims, but they aren’t. They are wealthy and been able to get it away with it. Just fucked up trying it in the wrong setting. What’s crazy is he is now well more known than ever and will probably make more money than ever. Damn cancel culture victims. What a shame for them
I get laugh out of the Dr. Phil bit one of that crew does, but rest is meh most of the time. also that Casey Rocket guy may be the least funny guy I’ve ever seen.
Yeah the comedians in Joe's orbit are not particularly funny but Joe was never particularly funny so I guess it makes sense
I never understood his or Bert's "comedy" tbh. Kill Tony sucks. Idk how anyone can watch/listen to that bullshit. It's all trash. These people are trash. I use to enjoy some of their pods with actual funny people from time to time but now they're embarrassing. I did like Segura but now that he's rich he's shown to be a huge piece of shit.
Segura's first special was great but each one after has gotten progressively worse and yea he seems like he sucks. I've never understood why people thought Bert was funny.
