The problem I have, is that if someone slapped me on the face, my first thought wouldn't be fall to the ground
Right, you would think the Barton thing to do would be to get even more angry and go after him. Perhaps Barton is smarter than we think.
I hate Barton but he played that beautifully. You could tell he was gonna get someone sent off after the ref missed the Song stamp.
Barton knew what he was doing the whole time. I was watching with my brother and my mom came in and happen to be there when this happened. She doesn't know shit about EPL but she knows about Barton now. She kept asking what his problem was and then when he blasted that volley that missed not to much longer after the incident she goes "good I don't want that jerk to score."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "I think Gervinho didn't deserve the red card personally. I dont know why Joey Barton has grabbed him at the throat to get him up. I think thats a yellow card. I feel the referee has not seen it and the assistant has not seen it properly. I am 100% sure the referee has not seen the incident so I would like to know who made the decision. Will I appeal? I will have a good look at it but I am tempted to say yes."
I feel as if Song didnt act like a cunt, Barton wouldn't have been out seeking out an incident. You could tell after the Song incident he was gonna do something.
It's the shit like this that soccer haters will always point to. EPL should review things post game like the MLS does and Barton should def be given a red for being a huge bitch
Even if it wasn't a straight red which I think it was if you send off Gervinho there, yellow for the shirt grab and yellow for the dive= a red.
By the letter of the law it should have been a penalty on Barton. The ball was in play and he picked up a player by his shirt which is a foul. It was overall just a shitty officiated game. Not gonna complain about the result or the overall officiating, just Barton skating again vs us.
We're not. We're complaining about Barton who should have been sent off the last 2 games vs us and is just a disturbance to the game. Can't do shit during the game so has to change it by being a complete cunt and the refs allow it. So Gervinho may have embellished a foul, BFD, he needs to then aggressively pick him up by his jersey and throw him around and when Gervinho fights back act like a victim. Guy is just a pathetic, lowlife POS.
all the Barton hate puts a smile on my face.(In saying that I am not saying he doesn't act like a faggot)

@Joey7BartonJoseph Barton @RobbieSavage8 well said Sav, maybe I shouldnt of got involved but diving and trying to win a penalty, is sh*t. Needs stamping out (No pun) @Joey7BartonJoseph Barton What do people want me to do, stand and trade blows with Gervinho. If u raise ur hands to players faces, u should beoff. Ref got it right...
@Joey7BartonJoseph Barton Imagine if id of stamped on Song, all the numptys would be out calling for a public execution. What cos its on me its alright? #hypocrites.
@Joey7BartonJoseph Barton @RobbieSavage8 hate CHEATS that dive to win pens. If theres contact go down but dont blatantly try to con the ref. Refs have it hard enough
So funny that he gets all pissed about Gervinho diving but when he gets tapped on the head he goes down like he was just shot. Hypocritical faggot.
His reasoning that "I didn't deserve a red card so I tried to injure a player and take one with me" is pure faggotry. Fuck that guy.
So grateful for Joey. Without him coming through in the clutch, united may very well won another title.
