God is real
let’s not get carried away
Going from Matt Ryan to Tannehill is not exactly the upgrade I was expecting for Julio...
Tell me again why they didn’t draft a QB?
Bc Thomas Dimitroff likely enjoys sex with animals and Rich McKay is making 6 figures to do who knows what
I feel like offense has not been the Titans problem .
This is my fever dream
Dmitroff been gone but yes to McKay
That's an incredible deal for the Titans. I'm gonna go ahead and say they get at least two top 10 seasons from Julio.
I thought Julio said he wanted to go somewhere he could win a Super Bowl?
2nd round pick for Julio ? Seems low
Jones doesn’t care about his own production, just the chance at a ring. He’s arguably the best blocking WR in the NFL which only helps Henry. AJ and his numbers will likely go down some.
Ridley’s fantasy value, especially in PPR leagues just skyrocketed.
We might should have paid closer attention to them hanging/working out together a few weeks ago.
Happy for him.
JJ: "I want to play with a QB with a big arm:
Falcons: "LMAO, K. Enjoy Tannen hill, his below avg deep ball, and a run first offense"
This is ridiculous. He's talking shit about his QB as he goes out the door and claims he wants one with a big arm. He wouldn't be doing that if he didn't care about his production
That's a great return for a WR that missed half the year last year on the back end of his career
To watch Dmitroff have sex with animals is what
Ehhh it’s been a problem when we get down because we haven’t been able to throw the ball around because outside of AJ our WRs were trash. This adds a major weapon that lets us play catch up if we need to plus gives Henry a huge blocker on the outside
This, he could ball out this year, but I'd be cautious about how productive he'll be.
Corey Davis had basically 1,000 yards last year. Julio is gonna get a lot of targets even with AJ Brown there.
I feel like elite level WRs often age a lot more gracefully than most people realize
Is there a WR on that list that is as hurt as Julio?
Let's goooooooo. Tannethrill. AJ. Henry and Juliooooooooo
I feel like the Falcons really missed out on the opportunity to draft their hometown kid Justin Fields and start a soft rebuild
Julio probably got 1 or 2 more great seasons left in him.
My phone always corrects Tannehill to Tannethrill. Smart phone
Dimitroff is the reason we can’t afford to sign our own draft picks
Before last year he missed 4 games total from 2014-2019. So I'm gonna say yes, a lot of those guys were hurt more than Julio.
Also he went over 100 yards in every game he started and finished last year. I think it was 5 or 6 games. So his skills clearly aren't in decline.
It made absolutely the most sense.
I'm not sure they'll be top 4 the next couple of years and aren't going to be able to grab a QB without giving up a ton
At least there’s one recent Nashville transplant who isnt awful.
Whne healthy he's a beast. He may have played in 16 games, but he was rarely "healthy"
Probably the biggest net positive will be coaching AJ Brown. He’s already such a monster.
There's no way on earth he did this while being "rarely "healthy""
It's wild that he has only had one season in his career when he caught double digit touchdowns.
Assuming Julio is healthy - him paired with AJ Brown and Henry is a damn gauntlet of physicality.
That's two explosive 230 lb. receivers and a running back that could easily be rocking at 250 on a given day.
RIP safeties and corners making some of these tackles.
Ok. You're right. He never practiced bc he was always healthy.
Did the packers just not have the cap room to do this?
Goes to show how receiving touchdowns are pretty randomly distributed
It think it's more that he's Julio Jones and doesn't need to be hitting practice hard in his late 20s, early 30s. Maybe a little banged up too, but everyone is in the NFL. Teams throw guys on the injury report all the time and list them as limited in practice when they're fine.
In the NFL, everyone has the cap room if they really want to.
