Just finished The Wire

Breaking Bad, or The Sopranos if you've never seen it.

final season was awful

 

Only saw the first two episodes, and was disappointed. But I'm gonna give it another chance and see how it goes.

 

I have a hard time ranking the seasons. 4 is clearly the best and 5 is the worst, but 1,2, and 3 are all pretty close to each other IMO

 

I remember somebody saying it starts a little slow, then gets amazing, so I'm gonna try to get into it this weekend.

 

Loved that show so much. I'm rewatching it OnDemand.

i love how Deangelo is describing how the pawns are always the first one to die and thats their only use and then Bodie is like "not if you're a smart pawn"

Just a heads up. 101 network (exclusive to Direct TV I believe) is going to start showing all the Wire episodes starting later this month.

 

I fell asleep during the first two episodes...but then got hooked. Now I'm in the camp with all those above who think it's the GOAT. Definitely make a longer commitment to it before giving up.
