https://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/article309860460.html I'm irrationally angry that they say Jamaal is better than Priest. It personally offends me.
I always thought the goal of football was to score TDs, not rush for the most yards per carry (I totally get the argument but I personally love Priest and he was responsible for some of the most exciting chiefs moments of my life since I can't afford games any more, sue me)
Also I know football is a team sport and running backs don't matter but Jamaal played on some booty teams... The 2003ish Chiefs were one of the most fun teams to watch. Jamaal's were...not.
Love me some Priest but he did run behind some elite, elite lines for multiple years in a row. One year went Roaf-Shields-Weigmann-Waters-Tait lol. Jamaal ran behind average OL with Cassel, Croyle, Thigpen, Palko, Orton, etc. under center. The TDs probably put Priest on top stat-wise but what Jamaal accomplished on some bad teams was remarkable.
