someone passed this along to me a couple days ago: "435 North on the Kansas side to MO-45 Highway North (exit 22). Take it all the way to Weston. On the return trip, take US-73 (K-7) south from Leavenworth south to Bonner Springs. Lot of rolling hills and beautiful scenery."
LOL at the K7 stretch. Don't waste your time. I've never done it, but I imagine driving around Shawnee Mission Park would be okay. K32 to Lawrence is decent I suppose. There isn't much I would consider truly scenic over here.
Yep, turns out it is. Maybe K7 isn't the way to go, but Weston is worth a trip. I was thinking about heading up there on a Saturday/Sunday sometime when it's nice out. Shawnee Mission Park is nice, I have family that live nearby. I drove up to Clinton Lake and Lonestar Lake in Lawrence 2 weeks ago, then drove through KU's campus and picked up food and beer from Terrebonne and Free State before heading home.
Drive I-70 to MHK, pick up food from So Long, then take K-177 south “Flint Hills Scenic Byway” to Strong City, then back up 35 home edit: the official scenic byway goes further south to Cassoday if you wanted to do the whole thing. Cassoday is also the prairie chicken capital of the world. Anyway it’s a great drive
tbh I might see if the wife wants to go hike at the preserve one of these weekends. trails are open and I’ve never stopped there
The people who wear gloves to the store and then take them off and just throw them on the ground next to their car.
I'm not sure what that's in reference to, but I think he's been insane for awhile considering his history.
https://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article242024526.html I'm glad they are finally releasing this data. Was getting a little concerned with the fact that the reports haven't been pinpointing any locations. I know that it's far from guaranteeing anything, but I'd at least like to know in general where the main clusters are. One more reason to avoid Olathe at all costs I suppose.
I was pooping last night and heard what I thought was hail but it was just those things that fall from maple trees hitting my house
Bob Hamilton is running for Senate as a Trump Republican, I love his radio commercial jingle. This is unfortunate.
I, for one, can't stand that jingle. Those kids sound like they are being forced to do it against their will.
I think it's ballsy of him to say he's on the Trump train. Saying he's a good ol' Republican he might be ok. But hitching his wagon to Trump I think may sink his business. And if that's the case, good fucking riddance.

Not positive on this, but I think the guy works at the Monarch. A friend who sent me the link said he tried a couple of them last weekend and they were worth the price. I've placed on order for tomorrow, I'll report back on the results.
Hard to trust anyone that would willingly have 12 children. No sane person would ever do that to themselves.
Stephanie Jackson, an onlooker, told 41 Action News, "There's not supposed to be a plane on the highway."
So these cocktails were pretty solid, I’m going to be placing an order for some more for this weekend. edit: link for tomorrow's delivery - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdT99erGzKWfSrwYBfTKN0lomZP7WJ_x8wmn-1h4QnCYJ0GrA/viewform Also, I’ve never tried it, but Minsky’s is bringing back the Joe’s KC burnt end pizza on Monday
