It shook the house enough that it closed a cracked door. got the tree cleaned up in about an hour tho which was nice
Austin’s in Olathe:Gardner has wings that are fried/sauced/fried again that are the bomb. They call them “Delgado” and they are my favorite wings on earth
Looking at the Mill Valley track I live about a pitching wedge from the path. Would have been nice to hear some sirens or something. My dumb ass actually went outside in it to rescue some deck furniture
They are pricey, I go Delgado, Buffalo (medium) on the side with blue cheese. Blue cheese is thick and crunchy. Ranch is good too.
Hitting up KC at the end of June. Going to a Royals game and the Negro League museum. Any other recs? BBQ joints we should hit? Thanks
BBQ wise KC has a metric ton of great places. My favorites are Char Bar, Chef J's, and SLAPS. All excellent places, and other staples are great too (Jack Stack, Joes KC, Q39) but I prefer the other ones I listed. If you're in to beer there are a ton of great breweries in the Crossroads area, and if you prefer spirits there are a few distilleries near downtown that are pretty great (Reigers, West Bottom Whiskey). Great cocktails at Swordfish Toms (speakeasy) and Belfry.
they were not as crispy as I was expecting but still much more cooked. They come without sauce but I got some on the side because I like their sauce
I picked these up from the Gardner location last night. Delgado style with Blue Cheese. Very good. Kids loved the tenders as well.
WW1 museum Crossroads for beers (City Barrel, Casual Animal, Alma Mader, or go south to BKS) BBQ: Joes, Slaps, Chef J, LC’s, Char Bar non BBQ: Corvino, La Bodega, Farina, Grunauer
