I know it's not news, but it still just blows my mind that he spends four-and-a-half minutes calling Drake a pedophile and swept the awards. The song is fucking everywhere. It doesn't feel real.
Them playing the most aggressive parts of the song for his walkups was chef's kiss. Drake's "back to back" was the biggest song out for a while and Kendrick basically ended his career with "Not Like Us". Feel like he deserves the flowers - we'll see how the superbowl halftime goes.
With it being Mr Morarle, I was expecting the video duration to be 8 hours at least. One of Kendrick’s hidden meanings in his choice of wearing a “Toronto Tuxedo” at the Grammy’s made me lol.
Oh yeah. No one would know who these guys were if it weren’t for their season on TPAB. He’s got seasons for all of Kendrick’s albums with the same format
Thanks. I've watched a few of them, just didn't realize they did full albums. I thought it was just a song here and there.
They do one offs every now and then (I think particularly they did for the diss records) but this is the meat and potatoes of the show
They made the spotify jump just as I got into the podcast ~5 years ago, they release on Apple but not until later. Youtube is a nice addition.
Got it. I must have watched someone else then. I remember looking for their work on a couple pod platforms and didn't see it. I didn't realize it was Spotify only. I've seen it posted here a few times.
This dude isn’t really on the “Canadian Tuxedo” fringe. He likely has a lot to do with the wave of speculation that annoys you but he’s pretty thoughtful and incredibly thorough
I’m not annoyed by the dissection of his lyrics when it’s knowledgeable people. My original joke was targeted at the guys posting on Kendrick’s Reddit that should be using all their adderall energy on their homework.
so is he just going to do a mashup version of Not Like Us and skip over most the pedo stuff or is the NFL/Fox just going to be going rapid fire on the dump button
all that matters is if he gets to do the a minor with the whole stadium joining in, Grammys seemed fine with that part
As someone who is been a Dot fan since OD came out in 2010 and my old days of following Nah Right today feels much bigger to me than the LA halftime show as far as hip hop being on the national stage I really hope Q is a surprise guest
