I saw like 9 of these commercials last night while watching wheel of fortune and jeopardy. Some of them were wild - ridiculing both Arrington and mace for being too liberal in the same commercial, and then it said at the bottom a conservative pac made the ad
Would it have set a bad precedent - which it already kind of did? Yes. Would that have been awful, just generally speaking, because someone was killed? Obviously. Would it have been "good" for this country if someone that "mattered" died during this, so this whole "dust up at the Capitol" wasn't an option? Welll.....
We probably still don't care but maybe if someone "important" died in this things might be different now.

Pelosi isn't a Gracchi. I see the logic behind it, but she wasn't the martyr that would have made the country change. Instead of saying it was a dust up, those same people would make her death an authoritarian right wing holiday. These people think her and Hillary Clinton are modern day tyrants
Those deaths are happening in hospitals and such. This would have been broadcast live on the internet. Its a different reaction for the brain. But yeah probably nothing changes if we lose a Pelosi and Pence/McConnell.
Or… I know it’s gross to say, but she’s probably be way more effective to the progressive cause as a martyr. You know, instead of praising Ronald Regean and supporting an anti abortion house member.
Of all the mass shooters, I’m personally most disgusted by the ones who took the lives of school children, followed closely by the Republican softball team shooter. The school shooters for taking those kids’ lives and the softball shooter for having shit aim.
I more meant the profile of a persons death to get people to notice it’s real. Who was the most famous Covid death? Didn’t really have to do with seeing it happen
Are/ were. Whatever tense you want to use. They are currently complicit by their in action. Trump would be in jail. Giuliani, Stone multiple senators and congress members would be in jail. A fucking Supreme Court justice would be in jail if they cared. But they don’t do nothing will happen.
How about tie her to canoe, slather her in honey , leave her in the lake or river to die slowly to bugs and the elements.
The best part of these hearings is that no one will remember anything from yesterday by the time Monday comes around.
