I drink it after my workouts and it seems to do the trick. I also take supplements, drink pickle juice, eat cumcumbers and pickles. I just needed something more than water after I workout. At 50 cent more or less I am good with them.
It has less than 1% of the potassium you should have daily while in ketosis so I realllllllly hope you’re taking potassium If you buy a bag of potassium citrate it’ll last you probably 4 months and the thing was $17
Just add some stuff to it on your own and you’ll be good. Problem with what we/you are doing is that it may be causing some negative effects that we aren’t able to detect right now.
I take potassium supplements eat a shit ton of spinach, broccoli and other vegetables high in potassium. Yeah I get that and that’s why I try to eat tons of vegetables. Down to 184 which is about 10 pounds from my goal weight. I’ll add more fruits and vegetables that are higher in natural carbs and sugars once I get there.
cucumbers do have a tiny amount of electrolytes, but probably 95% of what you’re getting in that snack comes from what you’re putting on the cucumbers. Limes have potassium and everything else is sodium
It was a joke man. I appreciate the information you’ve provided. But, I don’t eat cumcumbers plain I also don’t think they are the only thing I need to eat. So I don’t think it matters if the nutrition comes from the add ons. I’ve just read they are good for hydration which is why I mentioned them.
Gat damn my mother in law went to pick up some bbq and while she was waiting they asked her if she wants some fresh pork rinds. She thought they were good and got a big bag. Holy shit these things are unreal.
I was thinking of doing pork rinds and queso for the games tomorrow as a treat but didn’t like what I was seeing with the store bought quesos. Might try this Super Bowl weekend with some spicy rinds. https://www.ketoconnect.net/easy-queso-dip/
Think of it this way, if you lose a pound a day until 2020, on NYE you’ll probably weigh really close to 0 pounds. If you really dedicate yourself you might even be negative pounds.
Someone posted a link a month or two ago that you could order Lou Malnati's Chicago style deep dish with a crust made from sausage. I ordered a couple along with some regular crusts for Christmas gifts. It definitely fills the pizza craving void even if a little expensive.
My mom made some dips over Christmas break, and she bought some coonass pork rinds for me to use as the flavor vehicle. I don’t really care for pork rinds, but the Cajun flavoring made them taste pretty decent. Definitely would eat again.
Half of that pizza is perfect for my lunch or dinner calories and is just about in my sweet spot for fat and protein macros. I could split the pizza between lunch and dinner. Or just skip one of the meals and eat the whole thing in one sitting. And while I may be treating myself in terms of price, I wouldn’t be getting off my diet at all. Definitely going to buy this in the near future. I read about this pizza in the thread a while back, but thanks to you posting the nutritional info, I’ll actually be purchasing it.
Yeah it's not cheap but I've payed a hell of a lot more for worse. If you order 6 pizzas it comes out to a little over $18 per pizza.
That’s amazing. Would much rather do that then the cauliflower crust stuff. I’m guessing most of the carbs are coming from the sauce and I’m pretty amazed it’s not more. And $18 per pie is pretty reasonable. I used to drop $15 for Screaming Sicilians at the grocery store.
Did you just order them online and choose crustless for them to ship to you? Really tempted to order the 6 pack all crustless and enjoy away.
I make mine with: 6 cups water The juice of a lemon ½ teaspoon potassium chloride ¼ teaspoon Himalayan Salt 2 teaspoonsNatural Calm magnesium powder 2 squirts sugarfree lemonade Mio
Been on Keto for a week. Tracked my carbs prior to starting and it was anywhere between 200-300. Been between 10-17 net all week. No keto flu, no diarrhea. Made it through 2 customer dinner/lunches as well. These next couple weeks will be challenging since I will be on the road mon-fri. I used to crush breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks when i traveled, but I've bought some snacks for when I'm hungry and know what i can and can't get from their menu drink wise. This may be unlike many in this thread, but I'm not doing Keto for the weight loss. I'm 6'0 153 and have actually struggled to gain weight my whole life. I don't have Crohns, but I have fairly extreme IBS. Food just goes right through me. To compound things, being on the road half the month and living by myself, I have poor eating habits. I'm either eating out on the road or getting uber eats/grubhub when I'm home. For me Keto is not a forever diet, but something I felt I could do to help kick start better eating habits. I tried Whole30 for about 4 days but knew I could never stick to it. Keto is very rewarding in the things you can eat which is why I know i can stick to it. I'm making meals, and I'm cognizant of everything I'm eating. Once I'm back I'm planning on rejoining my gym and getting back into some moderate weight lifting and training for a half marathon.
This. I have said this before, but after trying the Fathead pizza, cauliflower pizza, almond crust pizza, coconut flour pizza, pork rind crust pizza, vital wheat gluten pizza, portobello pizza, psyllium husk pizza, and chicken crust pizza, FUCK ALL OF THEM.
Took my gf to a cooking class (Xmas gift) tonight so obviously had to eat what we made. It was pasta. I’ll be back in keto before you know it tho. Hope this doesn’t ruin my weight that I’ve worked hard for
Everyone is different, but keto cured me of a constant upset stomach. Also, if I’m in a pinch and have to eat at Starbucks, I get the bacon egg bites. A little high in carbs at 9g (especially with only 310 calories), but they get me through if I’m in a bind.
I used to eat this awhile back: https://cavemanketo.com/meatza/ A bit greasy, but I didn’t mind. Also looks about twice as dense in calories as the commercial pizza above, but you’ve tried everything else, might as well give it a shot.
Here you go: https://s3.amazonaws.com/wingstop.c...-Corporate-NutritionalGuide-JumboWings-HR.pdf I don’t think Wing Stop breads their bone-in wings. Hence the low carb total for even the wings with sugary sauces.
