Not much flavor. Texture is a little different, isn’t as easy to chew as regular pasta. I liked it for what it is
My wife's company sends a dozen cookies from a local cookie company to significant others of all their employees every year for Valentine's. Like real gourmet delicious cookies of all varieties. Got our box a couple days ago and they brought me the closest I've ever been to cheating on this diet. I finally took them down to our deep freeze and buried them in the bottom and I figure once I hit my goal I can dig them up and go to town on them.
I kind of have this issue as well. My boss's wife does marketing for a local bakery and chocolatier. He's always leaving little baskets on our desks of various muffins, cupcakes, chocolates, etc. Its super nice of him and I kind of feel like a dick when I have to give them away. I'm not one to tell people when I'm dieting, though some of my coworkers know based on my daily breakfast/lunch of 3 egg whites and 2 string cheese. So this leaves me dropping off my weekly stash with one of the people down the hall and hoping he doesn't notice. Last week he took me to lunch for my quarterly review to a very nice steakhouse that does lunch burgers. I broke down and ate the bun and a small portion of fries and just felt like absolute shit afterwards. That feeling helps keep my resolve towards keto, but that burger was fucking delicious anyway.
Been up since 4 am and finally got to the hotel in Orlando around noon as the breakfast buffet was wrapping up. Hadn’t had more than a quest bar all morning. Still got the ability to overeat all things breakfast.
Anyone had the Maple Waffle Quest bars? Just ordered a couple in my grocery delivery order but haven’t seen them in-store anywhere

Know what’s fun? Being out of town for Valentine’s Day, being on keto, and going to a Brazilian steakhouse. You’re not paying, you’re dining alone, and everyone else looks uncomfortable watching you sit there by yourself, gorging yourself. This is amazing.

The example BayouMafia posted is more Americanized than a traditional bowl, which is just poke, rice, and a topping. The topping is usually seaweed salad but different spots will have options like kimchi, crab salad, pickeled garlic... If you like different types of sushi and seafood you’ll love it.
Can’t agree :( I was a sushi and/or bowl guy 6-10 times a month. Recently had them customize a new bowl for me. I love the rice, pineapple, and seaweed salad as much as the the sauce and fish, so I die a little inside with my current bowl.
Was going to make some of those cinny roll fat bombs I keep hearing the kids go on about but I quickly realized I didn’t have like half the ingredients. Made the PB Phat rolls that’s been posted a dozen times and added butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and cinnamon. They’re chilling now but the “batter” tasted pretty good.
