My cheat weekend was long overdue. Pants definitely fit a little snugger but I feel refreshed and ready to keep keto’ing.
I lost 4.7 pounds this week after having visitors in town last weekend. That’s 26 pounds since I decided to commit to keto (after thanksgiving). 18 since the new year. 10% of me is gone. I’m hoping to be back into the 150s next week
I've recently started doing these fasts. Only gone as long as 50 hours but it wasn't that bad at all. I think once you break that stigma of "I have to eat" then a lot of this is really easy. That being said.... Not eating is hard so sometimes you just have to go for it and make it up later.
175-180. Honestly to be able to run more often comfortably without knee and ankle pain. I feel good right now so anything I lose from now on would be great. I am doing a keto light now. Eating fruit that’s probably not keto. I have a kid in the hospital right now so I’ve been eating out lately and had a Big Mac the other night because I hadn’t eaten all day and it was the easiest thing to do. It sucked but was the least of my worries.
Damn, hope the kid is OK. And when forced, a bunkess double quarter pounder (or two) with no ketchup is the way to go.
So I’ve been consistently weighing in around 200.6 pounds. Cheated this weekend and woke up Monday at 206. Did the 24 hour fast and woke up this morning at 200.9. I highly recommend it for anyone trying to do a penance for their sins and get a reset. I did mine from 7pm to 7pm. It really was relatively easy
I like doing a fast after a cheat weekend - last time I lost 9 pounds. Meant to start a 48 hour fast yesterday but a customer wanted to do an event last night so I put it off to today; now same customer wants to do lunch so I swear I'll do it tomorrow and Thursday. Promise.
Hello BayouMafia, this is Mr. Customer. Can I yet again put you in a social situation where you must eat food?
I've found fasting to be a lot easier on this diet than I imagined it would be. If I come off a cheat weekend, it's never a problem to put together a 24+ hour fast and that usually gets me right back where I was before the weekend.
Thinking about eating dinner tomorrow night and trying a 24 hour fast till Thursday night at dinner. Can you drink water/Poweraide Zero with it?
4 hours to go, and it’s not too bad. Hungry a bit but not as bad as I thought. I have a cold and that appears to be a great appetite suppressant.
Family gathering last night and it was easy for us to order pizza. I wasn’t going to be the asshole to ask for something else and had a few slices. Felt like shit this AM. Not worth it at all.
Apparently they updated it to say more than 3 per week. Science can't figure the healthiness of egg consumption out. I have decided to keep eating my eggs with a grain of salt, and some pepper too.
Made these using jalapeno pimento cheese instead of the cheddar and threw in a little parm for good measure. They are damn good. Might cook them just a little bit longer next time. I dropped these in a silicon muffin pan but you can put them directly on a baking sheet. https://lowcarbyum.com/gluten-free-garlic-cheese-biscuits/
On my twelfth straight day of intermittent fasting. At least 16 hours of fasting per day. I've done up to 23 hours.
Nice. I picked up some Pawley Island bacon palmetto cheese last night and hadn’t figured out what to do with it yet. Now I know
Not doing keto, but cut down carbs, sugar and eating more veggies and chicken/fish vs beef. Not needing to lose weight really but just wanted to feel better. It has worked, but really feel like ass now when i eat "unhealthy" like greasy food.
Keto isn’t a lifestyle for me but it’s controlled how I need to eat. When people ask me about me doing it I tell them not only is it not for everybody I wouldn’t recommend it for most. What it’s done for me is remind me Friday and Saturday nights don’t have to be pizza and burger night. That eating behavior makes me loathe the feeling. That alone will help me keep weight off when I inevitably stop Keto.
