It's a very southern thing and it's terrible. They're just a gross, soggy salt bomb and its honestly just a testament to how stupid the south is.
A million times more flavorful and better tasting than those shitty peanuts you get at like Texas Roadhouse or baseball games
I love all peanuts. Obviously, this thread has died down since the beginning. Curious who made a transition to any other diet and if any of us has maintained it since coming off keto.
those gas station/ballpark boiled peanuts are hot trash what you need to do is find some downtrodden guy selling them out of his pickup for $3/lb those will change your life
also, i've stopped keto and just do a low carb (sub 50net g) type diet and i haven't gained back anything that i lost during keto. feelsgoodman
I've reintroduced some carbs but still do little to no sugar. Consistently hovering around 180, lowest I got was 177. I'm going on vacation to Israel in a few weeks but once I get back will go back on full keto and try to get down to 170 or so. Still shocking to me how easy I lost 30+ pounds in like 4 months.
here’s a fun fact for you guys: you can eat keto or Atkins or paleo or vegan or whatever diet you want and you’ll lose weight as long as you burn more calories than you take in. That’s what they call a “caloric deficit.” keto nerd bloggers try to push keto as that magic elixir that will help everyone lose all the weight but here’s the secret - diets make people accountable. If you have the willpower then you’ll lose weight if you do it the right way. It’s not keto that’s losing weight - it’s you. I lost 3lb total on keto. I’ve lost 6lbs since I switched back to a low carb diet. It’s because I upped my cardio and eat fewer calories. That’s it
Like 190 to 167. It wasn’t really a big need, I just wanted to tighten up and see if I could do it. Lasted like 3 months doing sub 20 g net carb daily and then I just gradually added more carbs in. I also stopped doing cardio and only lift every day and periodically do a 24 hr fast just to see if I can still do it. My meals mostly consist of Coffee when I wake up Quest bar around 10(not always) Heavy protein(bbq, fish, etc no carby sides), sandwich, or salad for lunch Gym when I get home Protein, mashed cauliflower, and a green(asparagus, green beans, broccoli) or tacos with these bitchin 5g net carb wraps I found after gym for dinner I snack on that Kirkland mixed nuts container from Costco, or meat and cheese as a snack if I’m working from home and hungry
? What are you doing with this. That’s just a random search. Mine came from the actual label of the actual peanuts
I have stayed the same over the last 4-6 weeks, which I am somewhat disappointed with but I haven’t been super disciplined. Started at 263.3, got down to 240 at the end of March or so and have stayed between 240-243 since, just trying to watch what I eat a bit more, but haven’t been as diligent about tracking as I should. I work out a lot more and I think my body composition is changing some, but it would be nice if the scale did. Not an excuse, but my wife gave birth to our first child a few weeks ago so things have been a bit hectic, as you can imagine. People brought us tons of food and I have been eating that with no regrets. I have thought about going back, but haven’t fully decided what to do yet to lose another 10ish lbs. We have newborn pics tomorrow, so we will see how chubby I look.
that’s what you think. Today I’ve eaten eggs, sausage, butter, oatmeal, cheese, tacos, chicken breast, rice, salad. It’s not some exotic diet. It’s the same cheap and easy and basic foods that you’re eating now just proportioned differently
Wow, never thought I’d see user devine get played by big gas station peanut mislabeling. The oldest trick in the book.
Not SEC SEC SEC They're best on football Saturdays with bourbon. Also, they're best made with green peanuts, or peanuts that are not fully dried out.
I’ve transition to a more “low carb” diet than strictly keto. Wasn’t losing anymore weight (stalled at 180) and didn’t have the same energy level to workout as I did before. I’ve added more fruits especially bananas. I had some rice the other day and a bagel twice and cereal once or twice too. Still pretty low carb maybe around 60 grams a day. I am going to see how this goes and maybe jump back full keto in a couple weeks to see if I can get these last 10 ponds off. All in all I am happy with what I accomplished just wish it would have been able to get to 175-170.
I quit doing keto a month or so ago. Gained back a few pounds initially (from 172 up to 180) but started doing 16/8 intermittent fasting about 3 weeks ago and have gotten right back to 172 as of this morning. I'm eating pretty much anything I want now during my 8 hour window but I've been running a mile or two plus my crossfit workout 5 days a week. I can tell a huge difference in these high intensity workouts now that I'm eating carbs again.
I forgive you, I know it was just all of those legumes getting your riled up. You have no excuse. No forgiveness.
Trying these tonight. https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/a22987243/bacon-cabbage-dippers-recipe/
Have had good results on Keto and will be modifying it a little soon, but I’m almost afraid to stop. Not because of a fear of gaining weight but because any cheat days give me super turbo butt.
Honestly for a low carb beer it is great and good for a beer. My only issue is that it is not strong at all and have been putting shots in them which makes them great but gives me a wicked hangover.
