should probably mention its in response to an actor claiming Spacey tried to have sex with him when said actor was 14
Buddy had his bachelor party in Miami and they ran into Spacey at a club. They got into an argument over whether or not he was gay so one of them pretended to be gay and tried to hit on him. They ended up all drinking with him for a couple of hours and Spacey texted the guy the rest of the weekend asking him to meet up. Spoiler
this is really important. he's trying to cover up pedophilia by admitting he's gay. there are a truckload of rumors about Spacey and young boys, it's sickening to see him try to cover this up by trying to gather sympathy for being gay.
Dump, it's not socially acceptable to lust over 14 year olds. You've known that for several years now.
so are you mad at him for pointing out spacey is a pedophile and this was an attempt to change the story? or...what?
Buddy of mine worked on set with Spacey, said he was an asshole to work with. Amongst other things, Spacey had a no eye contact rule. As in, the crew was instructed to divert their eyes from Spacey when he was on set.
Here's the article about Anthony Rapp that started this off https://www.buzzfeed.com/adambvary/...-when-i-was-14?utm_term=.lhYA1GnlE#.anlDw4XLM
It's not that uncommon to have a no-eye-contact rule. I worked on Space Jam with guys who had just come off of Michael Jackson's Scream video who said the same thing.
I just don't get this. How the fuck do you get to the point where you think you're so important that people can't look you in the eye. If anyone ever told me this, they would get a Full Metal Jacket cussing.
Tony: [describing his dream] So there I am, getting it on with this perfect female body and... Mike: What? Tony: I can't say. Mike: No, you can't give a build-up like that and not deliver. You know, a perfect female body, it's not a bad start. Tony: But with the head of Kevin Spacey. With the face the hair, everything.
It is reinforced on set by everyone around. If you are the person making the actor uncomfortable, then you will lose your job. I doubt he would have people removed for glancing, but if they stare at him b/c he is famous and can’t stop, they will be removed. Also, lol at Spacey acting like his being a homosexual is a big enough secret to distract people from the real story of these allegations. “Quick, everyone look over there, and stop paying attention to what’s over here!”
Doe: Nothing wrong with a man taking pleasure in his work. I won't deny my own desire to see each sin turned against the sinner. Mills: Wait, I thought all you did was murder innocent people... Doe: [outraged] Innocent? Is that supposed to be funny? [his voice rising in anger] An obese man, a disgusting man who could barely stand up, a man who if you saw him on the street, you'd point him out to your friends so that they could join you in mocking him, a man, who if you saw him while you were eating, you wouldn't be able to finish your meal. After him, I picked the lawyer, and I know you both must have been secretly thanking me for that one. This is a man who dedicated his life to making money by lying with every breath that he could muster to keeping murderers and rapists on the streets! Mills: Murderers? Doe: A woman … Mills: Murderers, John, like yourself? Doe: A woman, so ugly on the inside she couldn't bear to go on living if she couldn't be beautiful on the outside. A drug dealer, a drug-dealing pederast, actually! And let's not forget the disease-spreading whore! Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face. But that's the point: we see a deadly sin on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. We tolerate it because it's common, it's trivial. We tolerate it morning, noon, and night. Well, not anymore. I'm setting the example. What I've done is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed … forever.
