is the shit and makes me feel good. Discuss.
I remember 2012
It is still good in 2019. Thanks.
Try to drink one or two a week, especially if they're on sale.
Same I just picked a couple up because I was sick and it made me feel so much better thus this thread.
I brew my own in the guest house bathtub.
shoe on head
How does it taste?
Surprisingly never tried it
Drink two a week
It's for hippies after they complete their yoga class to go with their kale salads
Like Mother Nature’s pussy
I enjoy this beverage
Get to the store joe
I’m outside your home with my shirt off, your move
I tried and I felt like I was drinking something that wasn’t meant for human consumption
You can start out with the fruity flavors (aka kombucha kids meal) before you move onto advanced levels such as “original” “multi-green” and “lemon cayenne cleanse”
I drink this while eating my avocado toast in the morning
i fuck with the booch
hey don’t call me a hippie
Why only drink it once or twice a week? I’ve had it sparingly, but that’s just because I didn’t feel like it was anything special. Would there by any reason to not drink it daily?
good stuff pop two prebiotics drink some booch and you got yourself a grassroots gas stew going
So how much it take to start kicking in
i mean it’s expensive unless you brew it at home. Not any more expensive than a 5 dollar coffee everyday but just not really worth it to me. If it was like 1-2 dollars cheaper I probably would. Maybe I’m being stingy.
Idk 10-15 minutes. For me just makes my stomach feel nice. This and CBD oil are similar in a way to me.
This is my jam
Brewing at home is the move. So easy.
i added a kombucha to my grocery delivery (despite the near dealbreaker of an "organic caffeine" claim)
ginger booch is right in my wheelhouse brother
I don't know what probiotics are but I am impressed they're able to get billions of them in their product. That's a lot of anything
Probiotics is the magic that makes kombucha. They are essentially from what I understand microorganisms that somehow restore or improve gut flora that leads to increased gut health.
You have a nervous system in your gut that is second only to your brain and can really control the way you feel (just picture an extreme case like nausea of any sort emanating from your midsection - doesn’t make your existence feel very good). Healthy gut flora makes you healthier in several ways: lowers inflammation in your gut, helps balance glucose levels in your blood, helps better breakdown and absorb useful nutrients, changes the way you store fat (helping fight obesity), improves the way you react to hormones that cause hunger, and helps better control your mood (the gut can actually produce neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine). A lot of people who are obese have terrible gut health caused by eating and/or drinking things that creates a bad environment for your flora to flourish. Essentially it’s making you fatter and harder to be skinny. From what I gather a good way to start a diet is to take probiotics and get your gut flora right.
Kombucha will help but there are expensive (I think like a hundred bucks for two weeks supply or a month idk) probiotics out there you can buy that are delivered in dry ice because it helps keep more of the flora alive until ingested (you refrigerate from there). There are cheaper ones at pharmacies and stuff but they are capsules at room temp that aren’t as effective. Anyway with some good kombucha you can legit feel your like your mood is improving and your gut feels almost relieved.
My friend does it but the buch is really sour although very potent. How do you improve the flavor?
Um I like GT and Kevita plus one other one that escapes me. It does seem like not all brands are equal some seem to be more effective at giving that nice mood change feeling.
If I was stupid rich I would have kombucha on tap at the house
I find yogurt to be the superior delivery system for probiotics.
This blew my mind when I learned about. I read there are neurons/brain cells in your stomach and I was like that can’t be right, let me google this
A few months back I went down a rabbit hole researching kombucha because I was bored. Turns out that most of the claims about it are bullshit. I would drink it, but I have seasonal allergies andprduce enough post-nasal drip slime on my own so Iit saves me money.
Anyone had wild tonic? It’s alcoholic kombucha. They had a booth set up at a bbq and bourbon festival a while back and that shit is delicious. Hard to find and kind of expensive though.
We have this in my office
I’ve been intrigued to try it but wasn’t sure where to start. Recommend to me a brand. Thanks.
Kombucha is just tea that is fermented by a culture of bacteria and yeast. Your base flavor can be tweaked by your individual bacteria/yeast strain and how long you let it ferment. From there, you can pick your adjuncts and how much you add in order to dial in the flavor you’re looking for.
I’ve got a cherry kombucha on tap right now that isn’t as sour as I wanted it to be because I overestimated the souring contribution of the cherry juice and didn’t let it ferment long enough.
Local to you, Buddha’s Brew. IIRC it is on Jester King’s menu.
Does this help with hangovers.
I feel like I just read an elevator pitch from someone who also sells essential oils to their facebook friends.
