That's not what I've been seeing...they seem to be saying everything is trending warmer/less precipitation. Forecast when I woke up today was almost 6" of snow on Thursday...now down to 1.4" of mix.
It’s liquid calcium magnesium acetate and/or potassium acetate. Most states have brine and salt supplies, but must order by October 1 to have it by December 1. Some states, at least in the south, will assist by lending resources. The problem you run into in the Deep South is that snow usually follows icy rain. The rain washes away the pretreatment and you’re in trouble. Most northern states, and there are exceptions, have drier winter weather events, which makes it easier to pretreat.
I saw someone offering a charter from Houston that claims to have snow tires/chains etc. Might just get on that and put my life in the hands of a stranger. What could go wrong?
If anything, his transfer hurt us more than him. He reclassified from 2022 to 2021 without getting approval from our staff then showed up on campus on August 15, 2021 before the season started. McCord had enrolled back in January and practiced through Spring/Summer. Ewers was never going to take a meaningful snap at QB under those circumstances. He left after the 2021 season, when Stroud and McCord both played ahead of him. We had to pick up Devin Brown as our 2022 QB.
What’s the worst weather Dallas has had for a Cowboys game? Are there any examples of anything like this happening before?
Tbh not feeling good about this one. The lines and Ohio state looking well oiled right now. My faith is wavering in this team
The National Weather Service posted a formal winter storm warning for Dallas from Thursday 6:00 AM through Friday 12:00 PM, 2-4 inches of snow.
The betting line opened at Ohio State -6.5 and is down to -5.5 on most books today. The ND-Penn State line has held tight at ND -1.5.
I don’t think the OSU line has really moved. It seemed to be anywhere from -4.5 to -6.5. I got it at -5.5 on FanDuel almost immediately after release and it’s still -5.5. Bet365 and DraftKings are -6 and I’m almost positive that Bet365 opened at that
Not seeing much for Friday afternoon to evening, though. And temperatures up to 40. Of course, the very next day is 50+ and only getting warmer.
Welp everyone is cancelling so I guess I'll be shit posting from Houston instead of fighting the icy tundra to get to the game. Great win Bucks!
We’re getting together a caravan of snow plows, salt trucks, and four wheel drives that leaves Ohio in about 15 minutes, but we’re only going to clear the roads coming in from I-30.
There's going to be a lot of empty seats for all of y'all to choose from. I've got people that live in Dallas that aren't even going now. One of them has a suite at the stadium and he can't even give the tickets away.
That seems a little dramatic for a local to me. It's going to be above freezing and done snowing by 10 am on Friday
I agree for the most part but then again I don't know how bad it gets around there. Think some of them had bad experiences when this all happened before and don't want to chance it.
