Excited for the game later, though it would be a hell of a thing to come away with a win against the Celtics right now. Plus they just got Morris back. Was reading some stuff about LaVar earlier, I already had a low opinion of him, but the stuff he said about Kyrie back in May is just plain fucked up. Kyrie said Lavar should back off and "let Lonzo be Lonzo." LaVar's rebuttal was "Kyrie, definitely," Ball said. "How you gonna tell me how my son should be when you don't have a kid?" The only problem is, Irving does have a kid -- he has since his daughter was born in November 2015. He also decided to bring up Kyrie's deceased mother, who died when he was 4. "Maybe he don't have the relationship that me and Zo got. And I don't think he did. First of all, your mom wasn't there, so something's got to change right there. It's not the same. Lonzo can come home and see his mom and dad all the time. We've been together. Most people, with this talent, usually has a single parent. Not two of them together." Fuck the Celtics, but for Christ's sake shut the fuck up LaVar.
The Lakers can't be responsible for what Lavar says, Lonzo is a different story but again he can't control his father.
Lakers beat the Suns again. Lonzo didn’t play in the 4th Q that I saw. Lakers/76ers Wednesday should be fun.
They’re rebuilding. I like Clarkson a lot and he’s been great as the 6th man but 14 games into the season they’re not gonna cut the #2 picks minutes.
Clarkson can be a bit of a ball-stopper (no pun intended). For every game he can win, there are 3 others where he slows the offense down too much IMO
the way this ESPN crew is acting you'd think the Sixers were up 20 and coming off back to back titles
good game for Ingram, team just needs a #1 scorer that will give them 20+ night in and night out without fail, the lack of the go-to guy really sticks out when the other team makes a run and there's nobody to feed to get back into it
of course I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact the Celtics end up with the Lakers 1st rounder this year the more the Lakers lose
I just think he’s getting enough minutes. Still need to try to win. I don’t have a problem sitting him at times. He didn’t have it tonight.
I would much agree with this depending on what the reason is for benching. If he is barely putting in effort like it looked tonight night, he needs to sit to be taught a lesson. Can't be awarding piss poor effort with playing time. If he is putting in the effort and shots just aren't falling in and what now it doesn't make much sense to bench him unless they just want to make the draft pick a little bit lower in the draft for the Celtics.
I don't have an issue with Lonzo sitting these last couple 4Q's at this point. He wasn't playing well and Clarkson was playing very well.
I think Kuzma has the confidence to be the #1 guy. We'll just have to wait and see if his game can develop into that. Ingram will be a very good #2 option, but really like how he attacked the basket last night.
Kuzmania and Ingram frontcourt will be so good for years to come, but we desperately need a rim protecting Center for the future.
Dear MODEVIL, The Los Angeles Lakers greatly appreciate your desire to become a Season Ticket Member. We were unable to accommodate your request to purchase season seats for the 2017-2018 NBA Season. A 96% season ticket renewal rate this year did not leave us with enough available seats to offer all our fans on the waiting list. Since completing the renewal process, we have re-structured the waiting list and assigned everyone who remains on the list a new number. Your new reservation number is based on how many people in front of you were removed from the waiting list, either by purchasing season tickets or requesting a refund of their deposit. Your new reservation number will be your place in line for selecting seats for the 2018-2019 Season if there are seats available. -------- I moved up about 480 places on the wait list...still over 3300 in front of me.
