You're not that important man. I can assure you no one gives a fuck about you like you think they do.
I wear a lot of Nike Monarchs with slacks. Think it tells people I'm serious but I'm here to be comfortable.
Jeff Lebby was already named an OC back in December but since Lane calls plays we can give 2 coaches an OC designation since neither will actually be calling plays. Lebby will coach QBs and we have an open spot for a WR coach to designate as Co-OC.
I fail to see the correlation between importance (or perceived importance) and dressing well. You’re going to have to help me out here.
Sometimes it's good to dress them up with pleated fronts. It lets people know you mean business, but only to an extent.
Can’t blame Kiffin. Try to get guys that already have relationships here and can possible take a few recruits.
Getting good between Kiffin and Leach Posted on 15 hrs, V I P, User Since 223 months ago, User Post Count: 0 15 hrsVIP 223 months It has been an eventful day in many respects and I have spent most of it on the telephone. As you all are aware, Mississippi State defensive back Jarrian Jones has entered the transfer portal. He was officially entered earlier today. It is NOW permissible for other schools to contact him. As you have read and heard, there are a lot of rumors in the wind. I am going to do my best to make some sense of all of this as best I can. I have been told by multiple parties that there was a party that several Mississippi State players were invited to and several Ole Miss players attended. I am told a couple of Ole Miss players were making the invitations. I am told that both Jarrian Jones and De'Monte Russell attended the event. I am still working on getting more details about all of this, but I am confident in what I am told about that event taking place. I have learned that Mississippi State officials have been in contact with SEC commissioner Greg Sankey today about the situation. A source close to the situation shared with me that Mississippi State director of athletics John Cohen had phone conversations with Ole Miss AD Keith Carter and Ole Miss chancellor Glenn Boyce this morning. In fact, I understand that the call to Carter happened as early as 7:30 this morning. I am told that the seriousness of the situation was conveyed to both SEC and Ole Miss officials and that Mississippi State has begun an investigation into the matter to ensure there has been no tampering. I also understand that there are some cooperative witnesses who have shared information about what they witnessed and were told. Some have suggested that Jones is set to sign on with Ole Miss at any point, but I was told this afternoon that it is far from a foregone conclusion. In fact, Mississippi State football staffers have been in touch with Jarrian and his family. The door is still open for Jarrian to come back into the fold and remove his name from the transfer portal. Jarrian is very close with Joe Moorhead, so Jones' tweets about Oregon make perfect sense. I am certain Joe would love to have him join the Oregon roster. This situation has exploded in the past 24 hours and there are a lot of people of influence pouring over social media postings and it appears phone records are next. Mississippi State officials are not taking the matter lying down. If Jones ends up at Ole Miss, I expect this situation to escalate in a major way in the days that follow. Don't be surprised if Jones ends up at Oregon if he remains in the portal. One other note: The tampering rules do not just apply to coaches. They apply to players, former players, boosters and anyone connected to the school in anyway whatsoever. The broadest definition of "representatives of the school's athletics' interest" applies here. The contact does not have to be direct from the school or staff. Any indirect contact to a person within the athlete's circle of influence is considered tampering in the eyes of the NCAA. Mississippi State officials will take whatever steps are necessary to protect the program if any of these issues have occurred.
