Pretty cool seeing how these things trend. #Clemson Tigers #Alabama Crimson Tide #Nebraska Cornhuskers #Tennessee Volunteers #Auburn Tigers #Florida Gators #Florida State Seminoles #Oklahoma Sooners #Miami Hurricanes #Southern California Trojans #LSU Tigers #Texas Longhorns #Michigan Wolverines #Ohio State Buckeyes
Not everyone can go into a game and beat the 8th ranked Washington St. Cougars by 5 points for a national title. Huge oversight there.
Holy shit I never noticed how bad Chip Kelly disrespected the Chiz during their handshake. Dude goes right for Cam Newton.
Really have to commend the maker of that video. There was only one true National Champion in 1997 and it was the Nebraska Cornhuskers. They earned it on the field.
Feels good to have a couple in there. A couple not so nice ones, but two nonetheless and one being one of the best title games of all time. In my obviously biased opinion: 1. OSU/Miami 2. USC/Texas 3. Clemson/Bama 2.0
oh yeah well BASKETBALL SCHOOLS UNITE!!! plus I guess a couple of you two timing nerds who have been fortunate enough to taste the fruits of both trees
It'd be more interesting to see the defining plays of each game instead of a bunch of kneel downs, for example: 2006 - Vince Young's TD at the end 2014 - Winston TD to Benjamin 2015 - Alabama's onside kick 2016 - Watson to Renfrow 2017 - Tua's TD in OT 2018 - maybe Ross's long TD
Two things: (1) I love that Ohio State fans rushed the field in a neutral site title game in 2002; and, (2) 2002 should have had two plays because Miami thought the won it on 4th down before they got flagged for mugging Gamble. I say this all the time, but I doubt there has been a title game with more NFL talent on the field than Ohio State-Miami 2002. Ohio State had 21/22 starters drafted. Miami had 10 starters who became NFL first round picks.
Watching this made me miss/hate Les Miles. I frankly don't even remember the 4th qtr of 2011 game. Also, I kinda miss Bo Pelini's weird personality. That dude always reminded me of Delmar from "O Brother Where Art Thou".
Had to look it up. Miami also had 5 guys go in the first round the year before this game including Reed and Shockey. Clinton Portis went in the 2nd.
One guy that matters was: Jimbo Fisher He has a national championship pedigree. One of only 3 active head coaches to win a natty.
Understand that Miami didn’t destroy EVERY team that’s played like Nebraska did, but I just cannot get over the talent on that 2001 Miami team. There’s never been anything else like it.
