I was wrong about Lamelo. I had no clue he was going to mature the way he has. Didnt expect a late bloom like he has had. Reminds me of Anthony Davis growth spurt

 

I see the talent but his shooting was awful. Below 40% in some half ass league? It's not going to be better in the nba. Considering lonzo's shooting woes despite having a good efficiency in college. Can't say lamelo would magically improve. But can't blame anyone using a lottery pick on him

not sure you've been following Lonzo this year. If anything it should give more confidence that it's not broken forever.

now his FT % is still .566 this year, that's wild that his eFG is approaching his FT %

The Knicks or Pistons need him badly.


If the hawks get 1/2 I think they hold their nose and draft Edwards.

if they fall 3/4 I think they take Okorro (he’s my favorite wing for the hawks in this draft).

if they get unlucky and drop 6-8, I think it’s Vassell or possibly Killian Hayes or Avdija even though Shlenk has no history of even considering Euros

 

Take all the talent see if it works. If not we will have plenty of trade bait on cheap contracts. I’m always a draft BPA kind of person and I don’t think it’s close.

I’m with you on BPA in the nba draft. Lloyd has said next year they are going to make the playoffs. Trae is tired of losing and John is playing for a max deal.....none of those factors make me think Shlenk will take Lamelo. If we get 1, we will try like crazy to trade it. I think if Shlenk was on truth serum he’d want the pick to fall to 3-4 so he can take Okorro

 

If Trae is tired of losing, he should start trying a little on defense
