Was on in a bar I was in a couple of weeks ago. Everybody on the court was a washed up NBA vet. Cuttino Mobley, Mahmoud Abdul-rauf*, Baron Davis, etc..these guys are all like 40+. I'm not trying to watch glorified Y old man's league on television.
I didn't realize until today that all the teams in the JBA are called the Ballers. The Onion couldn't make this shit up.
Guys like Birdman don’t bother me. He probably just enjoys having something to do besides fucking off on his ranch. But I’d guess there’s a fair number of dudes that genuinely need whatever money they’re making.

I watch every week. It’s pretty entertaining. All the guys still have skills, it’s just a matter of who actually got in shape for the tournament. So far TriState (Nate Robinson, Amare Stoudemire, and Jermaine O’Neal) seem like far and away the best team.
Sometimes it’s worth watching for the Killer 3’s alone (Billups, Metta World Peace, Stephen Jackson, and coach Charles Oakley). I’ve never seen a team consistently come so close to fighting each other every game.

You can pretty much hear everything. The team of regular dudes from New Orleans destroyed the team of pros that made it to the finals. All the games were fun
