Lonzo went to the best public ivy school in the nation and got drafted 2nd to the team that was his childhood favorite I am sure he is pissed at life right now
He will be at some point in his life if his dad doesn't do his job of bringing him up. A Ferarri won't change anything
What the hell are you going on about with his parenting and bringing him up What has he done to make you think he's a bad parent?
I spent roughly a half minute pondering how Scarborough could be connected to the Ball family. Only because it sounded plausible
Every public appearance he participates in, he gives the impression that he's trying to live vicariously through his children and profit at their expense. What has he done to make you think he's a good parent?
Team Lavar who takes care of his 3 kids, coached and went to everything while his wife was sick and also took care of her. Big Balla Edit- in the hospital for almost 3 months due to a stroke.
raised his 3 boys to be successful athletes, kept them out of trouble, afforded them opportunities to get a good education for free
lavar may be a loudmouth asshole, but to call him a bad parent is disingenuous at best and just flat out racist at worst
Accidentally liked your post my bad. But they summed it up well, calling him a bad parent is just odd. He's present in their lives, raised them all to get free scholarships to a great school in UCLA to play basketball (Daniel Ocean ), and does it all with a sick wife. Idk seems like a good parent to me
He's a good Dad imo. just a money/attention hungry asshole. Hopefully the wheels don't fall off eventually, i.e. Hulk Hogan. does big baller have groupies?
Don't think anyone is disputing that he has established himself as an asshole... He's obnoxious as hell
Merely being present in your child's life is the bare minimum society expects of you, not the mark of a good parent. Are there bigger pieces of shit out there that fall short of that incredibly low bar? Sure. I don't know what that has to do with anything, but I will freely admit there are objectively worse parents than Lavar. His wife had a stroke in February; he didn't raise those kids on his own.
Right, I agree with the bare minimum. That's not the point. He's exceeding that. But as far as I'm concerned, he's a dick head. Bad parent? Huge stretch. Seems to be a good dad
Lavar is a terrible coach. He's having his team triple team Zion after he crosses halfcourt with the ball and it's just producing easy buckets left and right.
It must really suck to be a college basketball coach in the summer and having to watch all this AAU trash.
It was frustrating to see how stupid he is with shot selection. It's like watching a homeless man so poor he is on the verge of eating feces for food version of Stephen Curry.
It was not a description of the video as that shot was clearly not from half court. It was an entirely different shot. The video was his first shot of the second half.
Think some of y'all are giving too much credit for his boys being athletes. Lonzo would be a draft pick with or without Lavar in his life. And he's absolutely costing Lonzo millions right now. I'm not calling him a bad parent but he's definitely hurting his oldest kid right now.
I just fucking hate parents like him who take over and try to run everything they are involved in. He has had high school coaches fired and he has made their lives miserable by not having his kids listen to them. I deal with parents like him on a much smaller level but they are infuriating nonetheless.
