My problem with him is that he's running his mouth about stupid shit, I don't necessarily think he's stupid but he insists on saying stupid shit and then doubling down on it. I have no problem with him thinking his son will be better than Steph and seeking a billionaire dollar deal for his sons, but saying he would've killed Jordan in a game and that his son is better than Steph now is outrageous and deserves all the backlash he's getting.

Chino Hills (Calif.) lost last week in the CIF State Southern Regional semifinals to Bishop Montgomery. Chino Hills, of course, is the school of LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball, the brothers of UCLA’s Lonzo Ball. The team’s season ended short of a state final, and LaVar Ball wasn’t happy. In an interview on ESPN LA’s Morning Show with Keyshawn, Jorge and LZ, he fired off on Chino Hills head coach Stephan Gilling for being resistant. LaVar said: “Man, we were supposed to go to Sacramento, but that coach is hard-headed. He wanted to do things his way. If we would have gotten along, we would have been in the state title easy. But he’s trying to have a little resistance towards me. And I’m like, ‘Man, try and do it your way. That’s why you lost three games.’ “Because once he run and just play and when my son really wants to play for you, we’re gonna do good. But when you have any kind of resistance towards me, and you the head coach, it don’t work out that good. I already knew he was going to lose that game.” Obviously, most coaches wouldn’t want to hand over control to a parent — no matter how talented the kids are. It sends the wrong message to the rest of the team, but LaVar has already shown that he will continue to talk about his sons at every opportunity. It’s a puzzling position to be in for a first-year high school coach. And to be fair, Gilling is the same coach who had no problem withLaMelo playing zero defense in his 92-point performance. Not liking Big Baller isn't about race for me, and i'm not responding to rabbit, I'm speaking in general. RoyalShocker and Daniel Ocean can attest that Kevin Love's dad is a pretty obnoxious players dad and he's white last time I checked. Ball is much worse than Loves dad but it has very little to do with color. My main issue is the positions he puts his sons in before they even play. The middle son who starts at UCLA next season has already been put on notice by Big Baller that he will average between 20-30 points a game because he's a scorer and has been his whole life. These are the things about him that are the worst. It will never happen but at some point someone needs to beat him with a bat and get it through his head that it's not about him, it's about his sons, so stop trying to tell us what they will do, so that when they don't exceed your lofty expectations they will hear about it at nauseum... Thats more my issue than anything else..
