I thought the Raiders were up by a lot in a meaningless game when he got hurt. If I am remember that incorrectly my bad.
There were no meaningless games for the Raiders. It's why we didn't win the division after be got hurt.
Weren't you guys up by a lot? I remember thinking he didn't need to be out there any longer when he was hurt. Again if I am wrong my bad.
We were up like 17 points or something at the beginning of the 4th. Nfl qbs don't get pulled during stuff like that. That doesn't happen
There was 10 min left in the 4th you guys were up almost 20 Carr shouldn't have been in the game. You guys were trying to run up the score and he got hurt.
It is the norm for nfl qbs to not leave the game with that much time left. Can you cite me different?
You guys have a great D. There was no reason for him to be out there. Dropping back to pass up 20 on a 2nd and 22 with 10 to go was also stupid. I remember thinking he shouldn't have been out there and iirc commentators also said that and that is why I brought it up in here. You disagree and that is fine I am not going to continue.
I'm definitely not blaming you, but it's hard to argue that your presence, at times, sends things sideways.
No one pulls their starting QB up 20 with 10 minutes left in the game unless its a meaningless game going into the playoffs or something. You'd be insane to do that.
big baller is getting a little overplayed for me his disdain for whitlock is funny because he clearly wants to be whitlock, cowherd, etc. so badly
Probably a better way to do it, but read somewhere that the team was specifically built this way and scheduled against tougher teams for Limelo to get abused on the court and learn how to handle getting blasted by social media (handling adversity). But who knows. Dad is still an idiot.
"Built?" More like a bunch of division 2,3 kids decided to enter a tourney with another division 2 type talent, name LiMelo, cause they didn't have anything better to do this weekend.
in the SI article about the family, apparently lavar made it a point to always have lonzo play with the worst players in pick up games, so it may be dumb but it's not that far fetched
Reminds me of PJ Dozier's dad enrolling him in leagues with older players so he'd have to play guard and learn to handle the ball; dad was 6'10 and knew PJ would be tall so didn't want him only learning post
He has them play with kids not as good so he can shoot every possession. Not so he can learn or whatever
In the end this entire family is going to be a laughing stock and Lavar has no one but himself to blame. His wife doesn't mouth off, from what i've read his kids don't mouth off but Lavar is systematically setting his two younger kids up for epic failure. Lavar insists the one heading to UCLA next season is a definite one and done. From what i've watched and read he won't get drafted. Mistake 100 in the Lavar era. The youngest one is a straight up gun, and a turnover machine. When he plays against kids of equal talent he gets obliterated and still fires up 30+ shots a game at an awful clip. Showboats with fancy passes that end up in the stands, and arrogant as fuck. This entire saga is destined to crash and burn. Oh and Lavar predicted his kid in the 2017 ucla class will average 28+ a game, easy. No, lavar you aren't setting your kids up for failure. You are setting them up for an epic fall from grace.
