DU with a 14-9 W over Duke. Connor Cannizzaro tallied his 200th career point thanks to four goals and two assists
13-5 W for Hopkins over UNC, their third win over a ranked foe this year Hopkins keeper had like 16 saves, so good
Think it's fair to day b1g is premier conference this year. Hopkins, (fuck) Maryland, Penn state. Hire ND shows up against Michigan tomorrow
I am pissed though. It was 70 yesterday. It's 20 today. The game tomorrow is outside bc of the ACC indoor track and field
Damn, Cabrini handled Lynchburg today RIT beat Stevenson Salisbury over Gettysburg in OT WAC handled W&L for most of the game
I'm not necessarily happy bc fuck Denver, but that would have thrown me for a big loop. I'm glad some things still make sense
Hoops, lacrosse, and ACC track all in one day? Fuck trying to get on campus. Edit: also is the lax game on tv?
There's also a women's bball game going right now. Didn't even try and drive over. If this wind would die down, it's actually not a bad day outside
last Saturday Albany dropped a game to Cuse 10-9 yesterday they beat Drexel 19-8 thanks to 10 points from Connor Fields. He had 6 goals and 4 assists
Friday at 1 MT I will be watching Hopkins @ Princeton at my desk. Stoked Maryland @ Notre Dame Saturday at 10 AM MT UVA @ Cuse Sunday at 10 MT Inside Lacrosse rankings as of 2/27: RANK SCHOOL POINTS RECORD PREVIOUS 1 Maryland 595 (14) 4-0 1 1 Denver 595 (12) 4-0 1 3 Johns Hopkins 574 (5) 4-0 4 4 Notre Dame 519 2-0 5 5 Penn State 442 4-0 10 6 Yale 431 1-1 8 7 North Carolina 394 3-1 3 8 Penn 340 2-0 20 9 Virginia 329 3-1 7 10 Syracuse 326 2-1 6 11 Loyola 313 1-2 11 12 Richmond 282 4-0 14 13 Towson 279 2-0 12 14 Rutgers 237 3-0 15 15 Albany 207 1-1 13 16 Army 165 3-1 26 17 Ohio State 98 4-0 19 18 Stony Brook 94 3-0 NR 19 Brown 92 1-1 9 20 Duke 80 3-2 18
Really excited for the Maryland game this weekend. Want to see what this team looks like when matched up with a great defense like Maryland. Supposed to be in the 50s Saturday, so should be another great crowd in South Bend.
RU lost the B1G leading scorer Charalambides to a torn ACL in preseason so Brown and their style of play should be the first big test on Sat. Although Army beating Cuse helped the RPI. B1G is really strong this year.
princeton quickly up 2-0 on JHU. still sad to see princeton fall so far over the last few years. those princeton-syracuse finals form the early 2000s are some of my favorite sporting events ever
2-1 good guys at the half. Not the best pace of play to be watching in mid 20s weather. But it's been a great game
ND leading UMD 3-2 with 9+ left in 3rd quarter ND retakes the lead less than 30 seconds later....Bryan Costabile with a nice goal
ND gonna win this one. 1:02 remaining, ND in possession of the ball with a 5-3 lead UMD with some terrible turnovers. Just not pretty lacrosse planning on being at ND's next game next week down in Denver
Wow. Jhu goes and or and kills UNC and then looks awful at Princeton and UNC looks amazing (I assume) at#1 Denver. Looks like nd will be #1 as we head west next weekend. Would like to go 1-1 the next two games at Denver and at uva
lost a heartbreaker thanks to some amazing goalie play on the other side. Coach Tiffany seems like a clear home run hire though
Tiffany definitely getting things going in the right direction, but Uva had now lost 13 straight regular season ACC games.
Albany with a 17-6 W over Cornell in Ithaca Connor Fields with 5 goals (on 9 shots) and 3 assists. Jakob Patterson with 4 goals
Denver is not selling individual game tickets to this weekend's tilt with ND sucks because I was hoping to go. Guess I will just go hiking both Saturday and Sunday instead of just Saturday
