huge weekend of conference tournaments. action starting now https://www.insidelacrosse.com/league/DI/scores
friday night/afternoon lacrosse about to start loyola-army on cbs sports penn vs. brown on espnu at 6 boston u vs. lehigh on cbs sports at 8 pm edt yale vs cornell on espnu at 830 edt
ODAC semifinals today in D3 action, championship tomorrow. Should be one hell of a battle of Lynchburg vs. Washington and Lee tomorrow, assuming Lynchburg doesn't choke against Hampden-Sydney today. Loser is going to have to sweat out the selection show, it will be a very competitive group for the at-large bids.
Washington and Lee manhandled Roanoke. Lynchburg vs. Hampden-Sydney was supposed to start at 7 but never got started and is still in a lightning delay. About a 0% chance this game starts any earlier than like 9:30 at this point, I would guess.
Two good games to start the night. Army takes down Loyola. Loyola souls be in regardless, but probably doesn't host a game. And as crazy as it sounds, that puts Maryland is a lot of danger of missing the tournament. They ate going to be nervous come Sunday, especially if Cornell upsets Yale and Penn. Penn escaped brown 13-12. Yale Cornell coming up on ESPNU
Well game got postponed to tomorrow, will be played at Lynchburg now instead of W&L. On the call for stats for this one, let's go!
Full day of lacrosse starting right now. Nervous day for Cornell and Maryland. Hoping Irish can avenge our terrible loss to UVA and defend our acc championship
could be a tournament with no denver and maryland, which I never thought we'd see. also, that hurts ND and we'll probably be on the road to start the tournament next week
Wow, Washington and Lee beats Lynchburg as a defenseman gets a takeaway on the best middie in the ODAC, picks up the ground ball, and goes right down the field to score with 4.7 seconds left.
Umbc going to pull the upset in the opening game! Will take on PSU in the first round in what would be a bigger upset than the basketball win a year ago
Centennial Conference went 0-3 in the D3 tournament today, responsible for 3 of the 4 upsets on the day lmbo.
as a fan of a team that felt the brunt of that turnaround, I'd disagree. but, it never felt right when Virginia was struggling so much. they can do some major damage this next month
yeah they got on an insane roll in that ACC CG - if they play D like that in the national tournament theyre a last weekend team for sure
#Penn State Nittany Lions unless they don't make the final 4, ament is winning the tewaaraton (heisman trophy of college lacrosse) imo. and even if they do, one of the others will need to have a great run here in may
Cuse @ Loyola at 12 PM ET Gtown @ Yale at 2:30 PM ET Army @ Penn at 5 PM ET Robert Morris @ UVA @ 7:30 PM ET all on ESPNU then on Sunday it's UMBC vs PSU, UMD/Towson, Richmond/Duke and ND/Hopkins. Again, all on ESPNU I have been so pathetic at following lax this spring. Albany with a 5-9 final record is really discouraging
Welcome back! Should be a great weekend of games starting with the first one Saturday morning! Really don't want to wait until Sunday night for ND game, but hopefully we have some great lax to get us to that point
From Discover on Google https://laxallstars.com/pat-spencer-to-play-year-of-college-basketball/amp/ For anyone unfamiliar with Pat Spencer. One of the best of all time. Planning on giving basketball a shot next season. Will be interesting to see what he does and where
Went to my first lacrosse game ever (it was also indoor so idk if that counts) very interesting sport
It was not going to be easy next week for PSU, regardless of who they played, but I imagine they would rather not have to see Spencer next week
I'm probably the only one that watched the Maryland ND game earlier this year, but I really enjoyed enjoyed the broadcast group that did that game. They reunited this afternoon for Yale Georgetown. Lets go have another great game
