Posted up at the Notre Dame Maryland game hoping ND can end the worst week for the ACC in a long time. As much fun as it is to see Duke, Syracuse, Virginia and North Carolina lose, that has major impact on the NCAA selection process as we saw 2 years ago
Got a bit dicey there a couple of times, but I think that’s the first time in I don’t know how long that ND was demonstrably better than Maryland. Big bounce back for ND and the top of the poll tomorrow is going to be a clusterfuck
Wild weekend and for the third straight week, #1 loses at home. With JHU also losing in a great game, I think Army might be #1 this week????
Army is #1. Pretty freaking awesome and wild (unless you’re a Navy man). also think Penn state is better than 9 and would pick them over Denver (at least). What they did to Cornell Saturday was wild. Losing to Colgate to start the season is going to haunt them (but shouldn’t impact them too much come May)
Damn. Wish the Maryland Virginia game didn’t overlap with ND Michigan on Saturday. Will be very interesting to see what Maryland looks like. They have not been sharp the last two weeks.
Notre Dame is damn good, so I take that one with a grain of salt, but they never should’ve needed OT against Brown. Virginia at home will likely be their season defining game.
Just saw that Luke Wierman got hurt and missed last week. That explains so much. They said he is making progress and should be a game time decision
Pretty decent Sunday with Duke Denver and then Penn State/OSU and Hopkins/Rutgers DH on BTN. Wish the Duke Denver was more easily available
Yeah they would be unanimous #1 at this point. I could see top 5 tomorrow being ND, uva/army/penn state in some order, Syracuse. Army having the win over Syracuse being the reason they’re above them
aisle seven i switched over to the recording of this game since the basketball kinda sucks right now. Excited to watch this PSU team
Heck of a weekend I’ll be at ND for #3 Syeacuse vs #1 ND Penn State Maryland Easter night North Carolina army Virginia Harvard Hopkins Michigan Cornell Penn Excited for the regular season to really heat up with conference play over the next month
perfect spring day in south bend. Syracuse is way better than they have been the last few years ND probably should have won by more but Syracuse does not quit this year
laxjoe PSU a little sloppy but getting good looks on offense. Mullins has been decent at the x. Fracyon a stud in goal.
Complete meltdown by PSU at home. Maryland went on a 5-0 run to start the 4th and PSU didn’t even have a shot until 10 minutes into the quarter. Errant passes, dropped balls, just no composure.
Complete reversal in the 4th quarter. Maryland capitalized on the Penn St mistakes and stole the game.
I keep tuning into these midweek Syracuse midweek games and they keep turning them into beat downs. They’re up 7-0 with 4.5 to go in the first quarter
Hopkins takes down Penn state in a defensive battle. Two back breaking losses for PSU. JHU in control in the b1g
Article about Eric Malever and his ACL recovery. I’m mentioned and quoted towards the end. https://dbknews.com/2024/04/19/eric-malever-maryland-mens-lacrosse-injury-john-tillman/
