If I had to pick two teams I was certain would NOT make the final four, it would have been #Maryland Terrapins and #Virginia Cavaliers just incredible. I hate you both and I hope you both have awful Memorial Day weekends. But I’m impressed

 

As fun as the ND game was as a fan, those were two fairly boring games today. Opposite of last year, that’s for sure.

This Maryland team making the championship after were they were at the end of the regular season is incredible. I hope it ends poorly on Monday, of course. But still impressive

Know a lot of kids on this Maryland team. I cannot believe how suddenly everything seemed to click for them. They looked lifeless in the BigX tourney.

It’s funny. I hate Maryland but because of this place and your connection with the team, I found myself happy for them throughout the year. No longer. I hope #4 stays healthy but makes zero impact on Monday. I hope #1 forgets how to play defense. Anyone else important for them, I hope they also suck on Monday

 

Likewise. I cheered like crazy when Notre Dame won it all last year. Hope the Terps take the championship, and my boys Malever, Erksa, Ajax, and Siracusa all have huge games.

 

Northwestern is dominating BC in the women’s championship on their way to a second straight championship

 

This goal scorer for NW is very good. Impressive comeback though.

Wow. I’m seeing a lot of people state that if Maryland happens to win, it’s only bc of the weather and ND will be considered national champs. Many people are saying it. Wow

 

Does the rain help either team?

 

It appears to be the smartest people too, so they know what they’re talking about

It probably helps Maryland more than ND, if only bc one of NDs strengths is the depth of the midfield (they play 9 offensive and 4-5 defensive, while most teams will play 6 offensive and 3-4 defensive) which pays off late in the game. And it will also be a sloppy game which just ups the randomness of the game

We are at the in-laws, and I made a big fuss about making sure that I had the TV set to this game as soon as we got here (which was the original start time). I continually look like a dick with each time delay.

 

Some people just REALLY want to watch sportscenter for hours. I get it
