Hopefully Liam wins the Tewaaraton. The attention is always on the Kavanagh’s, but he’s had a historically great season in goal.
Yeah I think it will be Pat but Liam was incredible all season. What should have happened is Pat should have rightfully won last year and then Liam gets it this year
Just read that Wierman won 17/24 face-offs for MD, and they still got routed. Dominant performance by ND on the biggest stage.
That was a hell of a run through the tournament by Maryland. They just ran into one of the best teams of the last 25 years
Taking out Duke and Virginia back to back, was exceeding expectations. ND was just dominant in every game that I watched this year, and I had a feeling today would go the way it did.
If you asked me pregame what Maryland needed to do to potentially pull off an upset, it would’ve been dominance at the faceoff X. For ND to still win by 10 is incredibly lopsided lacrosse.
So my son is a sophomore in HS, and wants to start playing. He's 6' 180, very athletic. Any recs for stick, pads etc.? Is that too big to play midfield/attack?
No worries on his size if he wants to play offense. D-poles are getting bigger & bigger. My eldest wa middie & grew to 6ft 3in 210# & asked him to move to D for jr & se year
As for equipment I’d take him to the shop & let him try on different pad sets & sticks to see what feels best. Youngest plays attack & tried 2 different carbon fiber sticks with both snapping quickly & that ain’t a cost you want to keep paying…ugh Get a neutral head so he can go both positions
