Seen more shot clocks today in these two games than I saw all year in the 20ish D3 games I worked/attended/watched.
And these Denver jerseys are ass. The helmets are pretty neat on close up shot but are pretty bad looking on TV zoomed out.
Rooting for Maryland I guess But really just looking for a good game Monday Edit: I actually think it's gonna be a gametime decision
D3 title game was trash. Odd because it's normally the one game you can count on to be pretty good, probably going to be the worst game this weekend. Salisbury straight waxed RIT after halftime.
This really tells you how D3 is an entirely different beast from D1. Rambo is a Tewaraton award finalist as a midfielder that scored 45 goals, a "ridiculous" rate according to this ESPN guy on the championship broadcast. A D3 midfielder from a team that won a NCAA Tournament second round game scored 55 goals and wasn't even an All-American.
I was pretty sure for a few seconds that it was my TV and changed the channel to double check...was happy to see that it wasn't.
I did the same. I had extra reason to think that because I had to get the panel replaced on my TV last month, thank God it was under warranty. So then I was wondering if it was Dish or an ESPN thing, which is when I asked.
pretty stoked that the championships are back in Boston next year as going to this has always been right near the top of my sports bucket list the OSU MBB roster for next year is laughably bad
when I build a house down the road I am going to have a big brick/stone wall in the backyard so I can rip sick shots whenever I want
6-3 Terps to the 4th quarter OSU with just 1 goal in the last 35 minutes Terps are 15 minutes away from snapping their title drought
I really hope ESPN keeps this trio of broadcasters intact they provide good insight, make me laugh and genuinely love the sport. Probably my favorite group of commentators in sports right now
Watched the whole game, but was busy cooking so couldn't contribute to the thread. Glad you guys kept it going. That game reminded me of the past two ND final fours. Super slow start, dug a deep hole that ended up just being too tough to climb back from. Thanks osu for making it interesting late. Maryland was the beat team all year. I got a friend's little bro that's part of the program but had to sit out this year. Wish he had been on the field, but happy for Tillman. Like Cornelius Suttree said, he seems like a great guy.
