Denver notre dame at 1. Hopkins and Maryland to follow. Will be rooting for ND/Denver winner in Monday for sure. Obviously hope ND can finish it off finally
Was part of the first or second wave of campers Pietramala brought in and I loved my experience around that program. I learned what teabagging was at that camp....not from experience but through an expansion of my vocabulary They also have a freshman from my HS on the roster I pulled for ND when they had Kirk Howell in goal
oh man what a perfect weekend for lacrosse it's gonna be in philly. so jealous of the people going to the games http://www.wunderground.com/weather-forecast/zmw:19019.1.99999 glad it won't be 100 degrees with 80% hummidity
Players of the Year http://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/2015-usila-di-individual-awards/32210 jones - midfield rice - attack landis - defense ACC! ACC! ACC!
I work with some guy from really rural Florida who never followed men's lacrosse till I started blabbering on and on about it in front of him. Well a few minutes ago I walked past his office and saw he was streaming the Denver vs OSU game because he wanted to catch up on the games he missed last week. My work with him is officially done. I think he's hooked
Denver gets a goal on a nice move by Zach Miller, making it 3-2 in their favor. ND with a quick answer to tie it after a call goes their way these two coaches would be so damn intimidating to ref a game for
I can tolerate Quint simply because he does so much to give lax publicity and he always seems to do his homework I didn't realize Cannizzaro was from NY like Miller. Fields and the Thompson family from there too. Baltimore/Long Island areas might get more hype but I'll take Upstate NY if I'm building a team
lol seems like every other game I watch ND play there is some dude destroying some poor defender on a dodge
This has been a tough game. Denver controlling the pace completely. Then these shitty turnovers aren't helping at all.
Ok we obviously have to score on this man up here. Unless we start to win faceoffs, I think we have about 3 possessions left. This Denver offense is too good.
damn. i really did think nd was winning it all this year. that's disappointing. but they ran into a very good denver team that took advantage of almost every opportunity they got today. i'm still upset about that 45 second clear denver got at the start of the game that got them to 2-0, but that (while "technically" the difference) wasn't the difference in the game. like i said earlier when i called this game over at about 5 minutes to go, down 4, i'll be cheering for denver on monday. hoping hopkins kicks the fuck out of maryland today though - because fuck maryland.
also, will be very interesting to see what comes out about matt kavanaugh (if anything). i think anyone that watched him post-army game knows he wasn't close to 100%. never thought he would be a non-factor in the ncaa tournament like that.
