I regret watching my third lacrosse game of the year

 

Hoos D not where it was in the ACCT

 

but the announcers are right - UVa cant figure out how to do anything in the set offense

 

I don’t know a lot about lacrosse so I always hesitate to talk about it but it sure seems like we’re lost on offense

 

today for sure - I think it's been a common note about the Hoos is that they haven't adjusted on O when it's stalled in games like this this year

first of all - fuck maryland

but holy fucking shit - that was the worst call i've seen in a long long time. i've never ever seen that called a goal (even when it actually is a goal). a brutal loss for maryland.

 

The call honestly made no sense the way the ball bounced off the pipe. Can’t see any way that physically works with the ball completely crossing the goal.

thats the thing - i'm not sure how the refs would ever call that a goal, given how it bounced and where it ended up. a ball hitting the net doesn't react like that. and its why that's never ever called a goal

that said, don't give up 4 straight goals, and you don't run the risk of giving up 6 straight goals. same thing happened to ND earlier this year against this same virginia team. they are unrelenting and maryland gave them too much room to come back today.

 

can't see game 2 matching that one - i just hope the irish show up today. made it a habit of having one good game, one bad game all season long. had our best game of the year last week, coming off our worst game of the year the week before. here's to hoping we can make it two straight good games because fuck duke

wow. what a terrible way to lose. feel so bad for our goalie. he struggled all year with the mental aspect of the game and had such a hard time bouncing back, that's going to be hard to get past
