Rough year in the SELC. Program has been playing second fiddle to FSU for a longtime. Luckily we haven't had to tear down any statues lately. We did remove a few bricks though.
How did Maryland look this season? One of the kids I train is their top recruit for 2020, so I will become a fan by proxy.
They're always good, although they barely made the NCAA tournament this year. But that had more to do with the criteria for the tournament than how good Maryland was this year. Should have made the final 4 again this year which would have been like 6 out of 8 years or something But if he's being recruited by Maryland, he's really really good
Appreciate the info. I didn’t get into the sport much, until I started training him. His name is Eric Malever, and he is the #4 overall player for his class, but the third attack (he plays X). Damn straight
D2 title game has been mediocre like usual. Interesting to see if the D3 title game continues it's near-annual run of being the best championship game of the weekend.
Merrimack a 6-seed in the tournament and leaving D2 for D1 next year with the championship title in convincing fashion, 16-8
That's pretty bold on their end. They're in Hockey East for ice hockey and a loss to them can really hurt your NCAA Tourney profile
Yes it's very fast. And lots of dudes with good educations involved so it could be right up your alley Pro tip: be sure to go when the BU women host Holy Cross. Belichik will be hanging in the stands with the 30 other people in attendance. His daughter coaches HC, for now at least ha. Just don't expect the sport to resemble the men's version
UVA leading 6-2 late in second quarter. Yale gifted one of those goals Ierlan not dominating the faceoffs
i'm about 10 minutes behind (virginia up 4-2 right now) but this has been the best possible start for UVA. goalie playing well. they're holding their own at the faceoff x and they have forced multiple failed clears. what a start
perfect first half for uva wow. that defense really turned it around mid season. to hold yale to 2 in the first half - damn!
that's been essentially outlawed in the game, but that was textbook. and you hate to think this way, but if you're uva and you're going to knock a guy out of the game, he's the most impactful
yeah hopefully he just got the wind knocked out of him - surprised there was no flag, but like you said it was clean - they usually flag clean hits though haha
the refs have missed a call or two (uva should have been flagged for a push in the back and a trip on two separate rides), but that was a huge call and they got it correct
quint's explanation of the no call on the push was good enough for me :-) but yeah they're letting em play for sure
well consider me just a little bit surprised #Penn State Nittany Lions ament got screwed. i'm guessing a lot of voters thought "this is spencer's final go and ament has another year" which i don't agree with. he had a better season, psu won the head to head and ament had a great game, and he had another good game in the final 4. oh well, he was an all-time great and it would have been weird had he not won a tewaarton during his time, so congrats to him. and now we wait to see where he plays college basketball next season
How the hell did Nat St. Laurent get a PLL head coaching job? His D3 Ohio Northern squad isn't even good. And Jason Lamb got an assistant job with a PLL team? Southern Virginia lacrosse is complete fucking trash.
Season is just a couple of weeks away now. Crazy it’s already lax season again #Virginia Cavaliers y’all should fare better defending your championship on the lacrosse field than you have done on the basketball court.
the Year of the Hoos is passed I have come to terms with it but our lacrosse team should be really good again
