This is my current wishlist. Plants Tranquil Garden Architecture New York London Paris Singapore Taj Mahal Notre Dame Other Delorean Stratocaster
Got the Boutique Hotel for Christmas though I have a huge backlog right now. Need to get to building as want to get Rivendell here this upcoming year.
The boutique hotel and other sets like it, do they all connect? I mean they seem like the same size etc, but never gotten into them
Got the Starry Night set for Christmas and partner got the chrysanthemum. We built the Big Wave with her son before he left for college and the 3D art sets are really great.
Yes the modulars can connect. Most of the ‘influencers’ build their own city and feature their own along with the Lego builds as well.
I didn’t know this was a thing till bought my BIL a Land Rover 1 and was all wtf at the cost. Now, I’m very intrigued by this. Wanna do home alone house for my brother whenever available Do you keep these up as permanent fixtures?
Since getting back into it most of mine have been displayed in our downstairs. Eventually when I have a stand-alone office most will go there. The really wide ones I take down and then I rotate the Christmas ones upstairs as my little one had a blast with that this year creating our own winter village.
I have my sets hanging on the wall in our in home office. Zen Garden is in the living room, on a floor speaker.
I apparently had $20 in LEGO points, so it made the sell job to the wife even easier. Not sure when I’ll even build it, but knowing it’s retiring I wanted it.
My 4 year old son just started getting into Legos. We got him a beginners set for Xmas. He got this for me for my present from him. It's for us to build together. I haven't built a lego set in probably 25 years, so we'll see how it goes
Started doing them with my almost five year old this year. This is what I got gifted by him to do with him.
Yea, since it's 3 different dinos, thinking it will take some time. Do they not make generic sets anymore? I remember them having like a wild west set, ocean ones, etc
Question for others here. My mom got me this for Christmas. She also told me to feel free to exchange it for another set if I please. She got it on Amazon and it’s about the same cost as Notre Dame. I think I’d prefer the Notre Dame set but part of the purpose of these is to do them with my son. It seems Notre Dame is a bunch of tiny pieces which he struggles with right now. Anybody done Notre Dame yet and have an opinion on it?
lol, I told my wife that this was a small falcon set. She said, “I thought that was the big one.” Then showed her the $850 set.” She couldn’t believe there were sets that cost that much.
I think that's the first set I got one of my grandsons maybe 5 years ago. It was fun. Iirc it's not 3 dinos, you can just build it 3 different ways. Pretty simple set.
That set gives you the ability to build 3 Dino’s, not 3 all together fyi. In terms of generic sets, closest you’ll get to that is the Lego city sets , and other themes that you find that fit.
The Lego store I went to had an awesome set up that was a small city block. Had a jazz bar and a couple shops.
That’s been a must kop for me since I first learned about it a couple weeks ago. I have $114 in Lego points to help soften the blow.
I have never used my points so I’m ready to splurge. Except for the Black Friday deal they had this year where I exchanged points for three $5 off coupons. I haven’t bought the last two modular buildings: natural history museum and jazz club. Feel like jazz club has to go on sale at some point.
Full Christmas haul 2024 Eldorado Fortress 3 in 1 Castle set McLaren F1 car(small ~$30 one) Now to decide how I go about the Tudor House
I saw there’s an Onyx Cinder coming out. Might drops some hints for my birthday. I just want a tiny Neel to keep with me at all times.
Also, not sure if it's been confirmed since I'd seen the reddit post. There's speculation there's a few Bluey themed LEGO sets coming in 2025. That would be trouble for me
Just packed the home alone house away. The open space seems perfect for me to display the botanical garden.
Our place is way too small unfortunately. And the bff is far from a fan of legos. I took a new job this year which requires me to be in the office most days. Bright side is I have a good size office with multiple shelves. Thinking about bringing in some of the architecture skyline sets.
Starting this beast. The art sets are always an undertaking because it’s a million pieces of the same color. The Great Wave was one of the coolest building methods I’d seen in a set though.
I was just randomly scrolling on TikTok and this live popped up. I’ve been listening to him talk about Legos for 15 minutes. The nerd is out on full display. He’s extremely knowledgeable
