Let’s argue about snacks.

Idk if you’ve had a cheez-it lately but they have toned downed the flavor quite a lot and they suck

 

before he died, my grandpa (tobacco farmer) liked to tell the story of asking his dad for a wagon when he was 5. The old man said he would buy it as soon as my grandpa quit smoking.

 

yeah, back then tobacco companies would send out promotional pouches of loose tobacco in the mail. My grandpa would always grab it from the mail and take it to one of the farmworkers who could roll him a cigarette "one-handed, like a cowboy".

I was just about to say that all chips should be kettle cooked chips. The standard Lays style have a time and a place, but kettle cook should be the standard in like 95% of situations.

 

Iowa does smoke corn as children rather than eating it you are accurate

 

You know what’s better than delicious ranch flavored chips? Wicker

 

These were my absolute favorite chips. Then COVID fucked my taste up and now they don’t taste the same

Nothing tastes better. Nothing tastes bad, per se, just…different. I don’t even know how to describe what things taste like now. Foods that have been affected:
Bacon
Peanut butter
Chips
Fries

I think fried foods have been impacted the most. I’ve got a sneaking suspicion it’s changed some common denominator in all of those

 

Off that List, Cheetos, Cheezits and white Cheddar popcorn are elite snacks

Where are the Salt n' Vinegar kettle chips? Top tier snack food. Elite measurables and taste.

Better Cheddars are better than cheez its, or any other cheese crackers

 

I’d only eat the popcorn and pretzels on that probably. I don’t really like chips.

 

On the trader joes front Patio Chips. Mix of salt and vinegar, dill, ketchup, and bbq chips

 

Might be my favorite chip. Mess with these all the time too

 

I dunno about all that but can we all agree that regular original lays are the most overrated chips of all time

I love the crawtator ones as well. I’ve told the story on here before of my FIL’s obsession with crawtators. He has to stock up on them every time they visit or we have to bring him in a haul if we go there to visit. He keeps them in the freezer so they won’t spoil.

 

Why do chip bags sometimes smell like fart when you first open them
