So, I had to get on a plane from Jacksonville to Atlanta at halftime. Got lucky and bumped to first class. Guy sitting next to me works for Barrett Steel in the UK and is a huge Liverpool fan. We noticed the seat backs on the plane happened to have FS1. We both decide to order a drink and drown our sorrows watching the second half. Obviously the mood improved as the flight wore on. When Lovren scored that last goal, the amount of cheer that came out of 3C & 3D woke up the entire plane. We squeezed one more round out in celebration before landing. I know...cool story bro.

Seemingly we play better against teams that are expected to beat us, shit the bed against bad sides that pack it in and try to score off of set pieces.
Watched the game back last night and had some thoughts. First off, Reus deep dicked us all night. Holy shit he's sensational. Dortmund's second and third goal were both incredible. The Aubameyang goal was something we would have seen from Coutinho and Suarez 2 years ago. Emre Can was a beast all game and his run and pass for the first goal was super impressive. Finally, why not give Joe Allen a contract extension? I know he can't stay healthy but when he plays, he's almost always good. Perfect squad player.
