Solanke needs this game time. His touch isn’t great and his runs can be better. He’s doing work on the press and off the ball though. Say want you want but I’d rather Klopp play him than Ings.

VVD and Keita fiasco over the summer, Coutinho sits out a month, we sell him in January and replace him with nothing, Matip and Lallana miss half of the season, Can gets hurt/sits out the last 2 months of the year, get nothing out of Sturidge the entire season...end up 4th and in the CL final. That’s pretty amazing
Ox is no coutinho but he was the replacement no? Obviously he got hurt too. Also throw lallana and Cline in the got nothing out of category as well.
Ox was brought in over the summer to play with coutinho which is why I think we’re about to buy a coutinho replacement Forgot about Clyde because of how good TAA has been
Pretty incredibly that everyone agreed that our two biggest targets last summer were VVD and Keita with a winger, which ultimately became Salah, being third. Well, now we got them. Think everyone was fine with Robertson at left back thinking he'd be the backup and we would sell Moreno and bring in a nailed on starter. Even people who liked Ox thought it was an overpay because he was English at the time. But before he got injured, Ox showed how valuable his speed and drive connecting with the attack from midfield was. Basically, I don't doubt Klopp and the staff to find players that will fit anymore.
i know that “luck” for pens comes and goes but the fact that we got so few this season with the probably the best attacking trio in Europe makes me think it got in some of the refs heads, especially late in the season.
My assumption is we'll sign 2 and if everyone else stays healthy start next year with CAM, Keita, DM, Henderson, Gini, Milner. Maybe they'll hold on to Lallana now with Ox out

Zaha would be an amazing addition. Zaha, Fekir, Jorginho + a CB would be perfect. Who knows what Klopp will do re: Karius.
Fully agree, but don't think we'd pay that much for a rotational player. I'm guessing he'll cost way more than Ox did last year.
We really need to spend on a extra winger imo. We were very lucky Mané or Salah didn’t miss much this season. And Mané seems to be barely holding on at this point. With a World Cup this summer and not much rest we will need to rotate a lot more there next season.
He really fits what we need though. Can play at any 3 of the front attacking positions. Would be able to let us rotate which will give us so much more flexibility being able to rest and rotate. Having one of Mane/Salah/Firmino/Zaha coming on at 65' when we need a goal gives us something we don't have at the moment.
That really is a dream scenario. Really hope we get who we want rather than being forced to wait like last year re: VVD/ not replacing Coutinho in Jan. We easily finish 2nd if we get VVD over the summer IMO.
