Thanks. More curious about why the sale would be affected by that, but my boy earn_marks helped me out.
PSE closes in 1 hr! Sell! Sell! SELL!
Yea he's definitely more your guy for any answers requiring any intelligence
Wait, everybody’s selling? Then BUY, BUY, BUY!
So it wasn't announced yet? I've been in the desert all day
Sounds like issues with his medical and it's up in the air now or just delayed depending on who you believe.
Also saw it may be because of payment to his representatives.
No one has a fucking clue other than he had an issue on his medical, we got a second opinion and he was cleared, and did an interview with lfctv which pictures were leaked.
Tons of speculation but no one knows anything including all the journalists.
On another note, so fucking happy for Kenny on his knighthood. He’s too humble to say he wanted it but after all the work he’s done for the hillsborough victims through the years and with his charity work, it’s WELL overdue.
All hail Sir Kenny Dalglish.
Lyon says deal is off!! This is what I was expecting lol... wonder if we panicked over his knee.
Sounds like that may be the case. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is resurrected after the World Cup
Disappointed but this isn’t the first time a deal has stopped because of the medical.
I wanted him. But obviously shouldn’t sign a guy if you are that worried about his knee.
Not like there aren’t other options.
Especially at that price point.
Given how the president of OL operates, it’s also possible that he was never going to agree to a deal before the WC, and that the knee is just a red herring.
In the end talk to me in August.
Don’t they close the window at the start of August now
The day before the season starts if I remember correctly.
The Thursday before the season starts, which is August 9.
Either way the main factors are
1) his knee
2) the WC
3) Lyon posturing as a publicly traded company
4) Fekir wanting LFC and Klopp wanting Fekir
I feel he still ends up at LFC, probably for the original fee unless his knee really scared the medical team. He’s not a starter for France so unless someone gets hurt he can only super sub. So I can’t see his fee going that much higher. He looked good against the US today though.
Gelson Martins about to terminate his contract at Sporting. Him for free is better than Shaqiri for 12 million
I’d rather get Fernandes than Martins. But both would be neat.
Brazil media reporting we bid for Alisson?
Probably bullshit but I’m liking the trend
I’m guessing the World Cup is gonna slow everything down.
If we did, we sure as shit didn’t bid 80 million.
Officially releasing the purple away kit tomorrow.
Think I might buy the away kit.
Same. Firmino away. Last years home was clean af but didn’t know who I wanted so didn’t pull the trigger and felt like buying it at the end of the season just to have it wasn’t being honest with the purchase. No commitment to buying a jersey at the end of the year when all the success has been had. Will get a home jersey next time it doesn’t have a collar or buttons. Hopefully a Virgil 4.
I love the neon kits. Matches the way we play.
burns bright and fast while fading quickly
Sounds like mourinho for every club except yours. Enjoy year 3.
Seeing reports of Zeljko Buvac to Fenerbahce as manager.
Found this cool gallery of Anfield through the years on The Echo
That picture of the kop covered in flowers after hillsborough got me.

Not too bad
Definitely a favorable schedule. All home games after CL group stage games and kind start and finishes to the season.
Need to get off to a blistering start
That stretch for Matchday 2 could be brutal, depending on who we play in CL.
We've been waiting for that since 2003. World Cup always makes it tough.
13/14 didn't we have 15 points or something like that after the first 5 games?
Edit: Went and looked. 10 points from first 4 games, 16 after 7 games. Won our first 3.
Iago Aspas coming in for the World Cup. Anything is possible folks
Never thought I would be seeing that.
Updates on the past two weeks?
Outside of the Fekir fiasco, nothing at all.
Brewster signing a professional contract. So that’s great news...
