next year the midfield when healthy is Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson. We need an all around mid to replace Gini. I think they need to think about replacing Mane/Firmino which seems so blasphemous to say. They can’t win with Mane and Firmino being so wasteful
Really hope he gets a good offer somewhere, but it's not a great market for 30 yr old players right now
All things considered, I’d probably rather be in Pot 2 for CL next year Pot 1- Atletico ManC Bayern Inter Lille Sporting Pot 2- Real Barca Juventus PSG Sevilla Us
If City beat Chelsea Ajax will go into that Pot 1 also If both Chelsea and United lose, they’re pot 2 and that bumps Dortmund down to pot 3
Think he ends up in Italy, most likely one of the Milan teams. They're both cash strapped and free agents are up their alley.
So either ManU or Villareal would go Pot 1 as Europa winner, and no way Chelsea is winning, so Ajax in Pot 1 too Even better news for us
I certainly think Chelsea is capable of winning but it was intended as a positive comment because you can’t get United or Chelsea and doubt you’d mind getting Villarreal or Ajax
Was there ever acknowledgement from EPL of why they bunched everyone up when fans were allowed in Dec and why now the fans were spread out yesterday? That seemed really dumb
In December there was no vaccine, so it didn't matter. Yesterday, they had vaccinated and unvaccinated sections. MLS is doing the same thing and might be a wave of the immediate future for next season as well if COVID is still lingering.
Yeah exactly I also think you guys or ManU (if they win Europa) are in line for a possible group of death, those non-PL Pot 2 teams are nasty and a majority of Pot 3 are really good for Pot 3
Yep. If Dortmund get bumped to pot 3 and get paired with Barca/Real/Juve/PSG then it’s going to be the group of death if Pot A is one of the Prem clubs
It’s the same exact juice as the regular 10 Year Bourbon. Just a specialty bottle they did to raise money for the restaurant and hospitality industry.
It made since to spread everybody out in Dec though?? Since there was no vaccination readily available
None of it makes sense to me and it didn't make sense then on spreading or not spreading them out. Just explaining their rationale.
Will be interesting to see if Leipzig wants Kabak. If so we could buy him and sell on vs having him return to Schalke.
Yes I see four right backs. Having a right back play in center midfield would be a very southgate move though
Very interested in seeing what we do for MF and Attackers now that CB is out of the way. Surely we keep Nat as a 5th CB.
I could see them selling Nat if he asks and wants to go somewhere and start. I'd want to wait until at least January though.
This season as shown we better not go into it with 4 CB’s. You can’t rely on Gomez and Matip not getting hurt. It would be only a matter of time before Nat was 3rd... (I guess we have Davies but I’m not even sure he’s real)
I’ve been thinking about January as well. First, it provides us with more cover in case the boys don’t heal / can’t get into form as quickly as we would like. Second, someone is always looking in January, and at the very least we could loan him if we can’t sell him outright. Third, selling in an inflated January market isn’t a bad thing.
I want Nat on the squad, we have our top 3 CBs coming back from major injury and two have been injury prone so yeah no thanks to a loan or sell of Nat
I’m not sold on any of the MF’s we are linked with right now.. I’d prefer Tielemans over Bissouma though.
