Minamino is a really good technical player but seems to lack the pace to ever fit in our front three consistently
Getting Matip and Milner on free transfers is probably an underrated part of Klopp's rebuild as FSG hadn't yet really cranked up the commercial side of the club at the point they were signed.
Does firmino start for the CL final? I’d go mane central with firmino off the bench but it’s a tough call.
Bobby was great but Mane has been so good through middle as of late. I’d let Bobby start again Sunday though.
I don't think you can take Mane out. And I like Diaz running at Carvajal. Course I like Diaz running at any RB. Off the top of my head I can only really think of Kyle Walker who Diaz wouldn't worry with his pace.
Much love to Bobby in particular. Dude is just class. I love Elliot. His short passing in the final third seems to have that little difference the best have. Very precise pace, rhythm and accuracy. I think he has a huge future in this team. As said, such a great performance from our second team in a must win game. Konate or Matip and Keita or Hendo in the final are the two questions for me. Front three of Mane Mo Luis is pretty obvious to me. Konate is honestly pretty obvious to me too. He has been really good the last two months and his pace will be required to cover Vinicius on the left. Last choice, I’ll take Hendo but it’s close. The football gods take us home Sunday and we go to Paris to become immortal.
I trust Klopp, Lijnders, and the backroom staff to figure out how best to play against Real more than me. But Hendo and Konate on the right side gives Trent more license to get forward than Keita and Matip.
Not really, but that’s kind of my point. If Trent goes down, we don’t have anyone who can track Vini, hence our problem.
dude I think he’s got like one of those “I’m not 23 any more sometimes something feels a little funny and then goes away” type things, not a future altering injury lol.
Do not under any circumstances listen to this if you still have a special place for rickie lambert in your heart
