I was Naby’s biggest fan at first but I’m kinda over it. He’s nowhere near consistent enough. Both health wise and Performance wise
I like the player, but this does violate my “No Italian players” policy. I put the policy in place for good reason.
Robertson trying to keep up with grealish in vegas looks to be a mistake. Grealish is #builtdifferent
Yep, staying at the Hilton Nordica in Reykjavik. Doing a couple full day tours around the circle, another day at the blue lagoon, and a food tour in the city.
They’ve replaced Mane, Origi, and Taki, with Diaz, Nunez, and Carvalho. And there are people whining about our attacking options on the subreddit and pretending Taki is a winger.
His commentary yesterday about his PT last year was sad. Can’t do a quad run without guys like him and divock.
We got 8 or 9 midfielders depending where they use Carvalho. I get the impression FSG would go get a player Klopp if wanted one. If Klopp wants to play Elliott and Jones more that is fine with me.
I’m not worried about the attacking side of things when it comes to MF.. I’m worried about Fabinho’s backup. We need another defensive minded midfielder. Fuck playing James Milner… Hendo and Thiago can’t stay healthy.
Henderson played more than any of our other midfielders last year. I’d prefer exchanging Ox for a 6/8 type, but Liverpool have clearly shown they will wait till the guy they want is available. With 5 subs, I get the feeling Milner is going to coming on after 70 minutes an awful lot in the league.
I’m not a fan of his, but he’s a home grown insurance policy at this point. Besides, replacing him in the squad will cost a whole lot more than what we’d get if we sold him. To be fair to him, he did step up and play well while Mo and Sadio were away at AFCON - if Klopp wants to keep him around for depth next year to help deal with another brutal schedule, so be it.
Makes more sense from Liverpool’s end than Ox’s. I figured he’d want minutes. He do well at West Ham or Wolves.
And came up short in the league.. Both guys a year older. With the amount of run that’s on Henderson’s legs I don’t see him lasting much longer. He already seemed to lose a step last year.
We finished 1 point behind City. And created more and better chances in the UCL final. I’m not happy about that we didn’t win either, but I cannot be upset with the process FSG and Klopp went through to get that opportunity. It was a very exciting and fun experience.
Didn’t say it wasn’t… All I’m saying is that in my opinion we are a midfielder short from overtaking City in the league.
City might sell: Silva, Sterling, and Gundogan (who took over against Aston Villa last game of the season when they were down 2-0). Man City is a well run club, unlike PSG, but continuity is important.
It doesn’t seem like anything is happening with Gündogan. Bernardo, Sterling, Jesus all seem possible if not likely. Not sure where things stand with Zinchenko
I don’t know why Man City would sell Sterling. He is more dangerous than Grealish. I’d take Sterling or Gnarby on free when Salah walks a year from now.
Recency bias Also the best part of the origi goal is that he scores what the fans voted the greatest goal of all time and he initially just starts jogging back to the halfway line while everyone else is losing their minds
