Morton is good and teams at the bottom of the EPL and top of the Championship should try and buy him.
It didn't work, but I still don't have an issue with signing Nunez. He still occupies defenders and works off the ball. He just never got his confidence going and does dumbshit. If it wasn't going to annoy the hell of me how much he was annoying everyone else in the fanbase, I'd keep him and sell Jota for whatever.
He is the same player he was at benefica with moments of brilliance sprinkled in with largely poor finishing. Yes he's a game wrecker with his pace, but there's a reason Gallant Knight called him an MLS player.
It’s wild our guys have been resting for 2+ months effectively while City just finished their season and have to go again in six weeks.
Diaz is too good for that league, but I’m not going to blame him for securing the bag if that’s what he does.
Not sure if anyone else in here watched Al Hilal last night, but they’ve got some players over there taking that bag.
Just rewatched the December city game that started that insane run when all the Arsenal fans were saying we haven’t played anyone yet. Highly suggest it.
I'm also wondering if he's not for sale or we're not going to negotiate with every shitty ass offer. Make a real one and see where it goes.
this. Make a real offer or fuck off. If someone wants to pay enough where LFC can make a run at Isak or another high level striker than fine but don’t come offering 50-55 mil
We should 100% wait to see what the Saudis offer. If Bayern were serious they’d try and get in front of that. Evidently they aren’t serious. But they took a year to get Palhinha out of Fulham and now don’t even want him. They might not know how to deal with non-distressed clubs.
LFC Sambas I’d buy these in a heartbeat if they were available in my size. https://www.champssports.com/product/~/JQ4041.html
Me. I could’ve. We have two ways of doing business. We either know you’re asking X for a player and we publicly show interest and then offer half that, or you never hear anything in the press and then the finished deal gets announced. There’s no in between and that’s the main reason why we don’t do well in the modern transfer market. Our board, with one notable exception, still believe every German player is ours as a birthright and that elite talent will turn down huge money from other clubs to sign with us because we’re Bayern. It’s fantasy land and it’s held us back for so long I ding even remember when it started.
Palhinha is a classic example of how we deal with transfers and youth players. If a player is new to the squad and gets hurt before establishing themselves, they’re immediately written off and sold/loaned out. There is no second chance. Right now, we’ve got Bryan (19mil), Boey (35mil), Ito (30mil), Palhinha (56mil) and Kim (58mil) who all fit this bill. The only difference for Palhinha is that he’s gotten very few minutes when healthy because he plays a proper 6 and that doesn’t mesh well with golden boy Kimmich, who insists on cosplaying a 6. It’s not a coincidence that our best offensive games this past year happened when Kimmich was out and Palhinha played.
Yezzir. Was a stud but when he was there the academy kids had a little better than zero percent chance of getting minutes. He’s actually German by birth. Spent 10 years in our academy but honestly made a good decision to leave when he did. We tried (barely) to extend him, but he had been there long enough to see what the deal was.
