We need to upgrade our CMs or need Ox/Keita to step up. Just feels like there should be more coming from Hendo and Gini’s positions.
Gini runs wild for the Dutch. He's asked to play deeper and hold the ball up which he does very well. This guy calls Gini ghost if you don't follow him. Henderson is the one that isn't contributing in the midfield.
Yeah Hendo has been getting his starts by wearing C on his kit and a couple of decent games toward the end of last year We need to be giving that C to VVD and working Keita and Ox into the starting lineup
Thats an escape but wow, hopefully they wake up for Leicester this weekend. Adrian has made some good saves this year but I'm ready to get Alisson back.
Well, Salah should have some confidence for the weekend. Really looking forward to Keïta being all the way back.
Can’t really remember us getting shell shocked like the first 15 min of the second half under Klopp. We will turn off and give up a goal and snap out of it but not today. Can’t “take that away” but outside those 15 min I thought we played at our high standard. The first 30 minutes was heavy metal. We won’t truly appreciate Bobby until he’s gone, but he essentially played as an 8, 10, and 9 the last 30 min once we brought Origi on and was always in the right place. Just phenomenal performance. Hard to tell with Haaland, I’m sure people said the same thing with Andy Carroll at a certain point, but he looks like he could be a monster.
200k fine from the FA, but no expulsion from the Carabao Cup. Good that the kids will get another game, and against Arsenal no less.
Just looked at the schedule for this weekend. Wolves haven’t been the team they were the second half of last year but we get no help that they played in Europa on Thursday before getting City away. Another big 3 points at home and then we go to United after the break and put the nail in OGS coffin.
Man City have more a deeper collection of talent than we do. I don't for an instant think their starting 11 is better than ours. Henderson won't chain together goals, but he will get stuck in.
Not sure if anybody watched the video of Jesse Marsch at halftime of the game on Wednesday. Pretty cool / inspirational. Klopp said this morning if LFC ever did that to him he’d leave the club lol.
That if LFC let out one of his halftime speeches (like Salzburg did) he'd leave the team. He was joking.
